I have just returned from an overnight stay in the Dean (stayed Saturday night). We booked a package that included dinner, b&b for 2 people in a “super room”. We honestly had an incredible stay. From time of booking hotel , and right through until we left on Sunday - everything was 5 star in my opinion. The room was fab, very retro and quirky, and the cleanliness was outstanding. All the extra little touches / treats in the room made it extra special and we totally appreciated them. Who doesn’t love 🍿 haribos and complimentary drinks vouchers . We ate in Sophie’s for dinner and lunch. The food was phenomenal! I had the prawns and steak on the Saturday night and I can honestly say both dishes were up there with my best meals out ever. That brings me on to the staff. Every single person we met working there were not just approachable, they were so friendly , professional and absolutely no request was too much, they genuinely care about their guests and really pride themselves on providing a 5 star service. In CoVid times I can imagine how difficult it is for a hotel to balance providing a 5 star experience while ensuring adherence to CoVid guidelines. The guys and gals at The Dean do it extremely well and made everything appear seamless (although we know the really hard work that is going on behind the scenes) We had so much fun while also feeling super safe. All the staff were amazing, a special mention to Ben and Dave (I can’t remember everyone’s else’s name 🙈), who went out of their way to make our stay so special. Thank you so much. I cannot wait to get back to the Dean as soon as is possible. To anyone reading this - Just book it , you will not be disappointed, it’s an experience not to be missed!

We stayed at The Dean in March 2020 so any observations are pre-COVID impact. This hotel is amazing. Beautifully decorated in a hip/minimal/comfortable style. We initially reserved a ModPod room which would have been fine for two adults, however, our specific room had a bunk bed configuration (bunk over full bed) that caused me to feel a little claustrophobic. We requested a non-bunk ModPod room if available and the incredible front desk staff upgraded us to the HiFi room at no additional cost!!!! When does this ever happen??? We TRULY appreciated the upgrade which made the remaineder of our stay more comfortable that we thought possible. There was some noise from the nightly bar/club scene at the top floor of the hotel, however, it didn't really bother us. Location is great for easy commuting/walking around Dublin and to nearby cafes, etc. And again, let me say that the staff is incredibly helpful, professional, friendly, and accommodating. We would definitely stay at The Dean again when in Dublin.

We availed of the Treat Yourself package for a one night stay at The Dean. I would definitely say it was worth it. The service was great and the food was delicious. We would happily stay again for future staycations.
