The good points: Even in a city like Dublin, which is world-famous for friendliness, the reception and restaurant staff at the Maldron Parnell Square stand out as being on a par with much grander and more famous hotels. We arrived early in the morning after an overnight flight and had not requested an early check-in. Even though we were happy...

First and foremost, "north of the Liffey" is not a rough area. It is very similar to any downtown area for any major city (I'm from Montreal). This hotel is well situated in a vibrant (and busy), multicultural neighborhood. You are right next to the Dublin Writers Museum, the Dublin Gallery (Hugh Lane) and O'Connell Street. For the food lovers,...

Our recent 4 night stay at the Maldron was excellent in all regards. Great people, well appointed & clean room, helpful staff at counter and nice restaurant facility on site. Location was very handy and within walking distance to many of the Dublin attractions including train station and hop-on-hop off tour buses. Would be nice to have had a sports...

I can not say anything bad about this Hotel. We just spent 2 weeks in Ireland and used this Hotel as out base. Pros: we got the room that we requested, we got in early so they kept out luggage until the room was ready, Vivian and the rest of the staff are excellent, the room was cleaned every day...

This hotel is in a great location in the city centre but is quiet so you are not disturbed by revellers! It is handy for anyone looking to shop too (so you can drop bags back and then head out again). We had a triple room and it was cosy but not cramped! Room was clean and the beds were...

Stayed here for one night upon arrival in Dublin and an additional night before departing Dublin 2 weeks later. For the price, this was a great location to be near pubs and shopping and yet far enough away to assure a quiet night for sleeping. Breakfast was very good with lots of variety. Staff were helpful and courteous. Rooms were...

In walking distance from O'Connel street, very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed in the family room which was of a very high standard, room and bathroom were spotless. Very good choice of foods available.

Everytime I require accom and a maldron hotel is nearby I just have to stay there - the hotel decor is modern and the hotels are not tired and dusty like so many other hotels in bigger cities and the great thing about this place is you can actually get a nights sleep! Beds are comfy and I think the...
