Stayed here with my wife and I have to say the hotel is amazing. Very nice, clean and modern rooms. Fast, efficient and friendly staff. The hotel has one of the best locations in Dublin as it’s located on a quiet street next to all of the other busy centre streets, a dream location if you want to walk anywhere in Dublin
Sincerely caring atmosphere, beautiful room, city centre, 200 restaurants Review of Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Dublin Pending review My family stayed in the Raddison Royal Hotel for more than a week: 15 - 23 March. I am so very grateful to Madelinе for hosting our Ukrainian family. Also, special thanks to Kevish, Alexander, Xavier, David and others. People who work here are very friendly, sincerely caring, kind and with a positive attitude. I felt it even during every breakfast when I received a smile from the staff. A positive vibe at the start of the day is excellent, if you know what I mean. What have we visited around? - We were lucky to have a Saint Patric Parade just near our hotel that week. - More than a hundred restaurants are just around the corner in the Temple Bar region and many shops in the local shopping centre. See Card Gallery for a lovely card. - Around 7 minutes walk to beautiful St Stephen's Green with lakes, birds and playground. - Beautiful St Patrick's Cathedral Room - we had a beautiful room on the 6th floor with a view to the South of Dublin. You can enjoy it from the wide balcony. The room was quiet and cosy—the bathroom big and with marble. The personal coffee machine even with de-caf and hot chocolate options! WiFi - was vital for my video calls. It was great. My family had a great time. Thank you to everyone who works at Raddison Blue Royal hotel and contributes to such a sincerely caring atmosphere. You remove clouds during dark days. Thank you for your service.…
Premium room / 3 night stay Two issues - online booking payment error which resulted in two bookings - still awaiting duplicate refund (sitting at Dublin airport staff desk and going nowhere - £750 owed to me still) Second issue - stayed 3 nights - left ‘please clean me’ tag in door both mornings - came home after long business days to find room unclean, no fresh towels, coffee pods or bed made. Beyond shocking. Complained to reception and was sent up a pile of towels and some bags of teabags (no coffee pods). Cannot believe - a premium room, tag left of door asking for cleaning each morning - and nothing. Reception seemed quite offhand and not particularly bothered. Won’t be back - travel to Dublin frequently and was first try as has joined Radisson rewards - never again.
This hotel is in an amazing location, and out of the busy busy areas. Overall had a great experience with the hotel, but for the amenities, it is very high-priced. The rooms were good but a very long walk and overlooked a lot of construction. Breakfast was good each morning with great service. Cappuccino was stellar!
We really enjoyed our stay, spacious premium room albeit looking over a building site and an apartment block with people lounging on balconies meant privacy was limited unless you shut the curtains. Beds are the comfiest I’ve stayed in and the breakfast was superb. Spa was a let down, £30 for an hour and the small pool was cold and unenjoyable. The room was not worth the £500 per night we were charged per (£1000 in total) but the price was increased dramatically for the Garth Brooks concerts being held in town. Same room is £250 cheaper a week later!! Staff are friendly and helpful, location is good, 8 minute walk to Temple Bar and the main shops. Would love to stay at the hotel again purely because the beds are the best but it would have to be at a reduced rate as there are other hotels cheaper and better than this …
It’s also disappointing to have to pay extra to use the steam room when you are a guest. Why would you not give guests one session a day for free? The hotel is nice, the room was good but Dublin hotels in general are two to three times more expensive than the rest of the world.
Okay for a 2 night stay. Within walking distance of all the main attractions. Although the reception staff were friendly and helpful we were a bit disappointed that we had to ask for our room to be cleaned and the tea/coffee to be topped up. We also had a problem with the sink plug not working properly, which despite raising the issue more than once, was not sorted during our stay. Had to eat in the bar as the restaurant was closed during our stay - not sure why.
The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance to great restaurants and bars. Short walk to town centre and Grafton Street the main shopping area. The rooms are very comfortable, staff are very helpful, and overall good hotel. I use this hotel for business and leisure whenever in Dublin and would highly recommend it.
Very close from the City Center and from the new student residence of my son. Clean and very functional rooms with comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Only item to be improved: pressure on hot water for the shower.
It was a really lovely stay. Perfect location, closed to principal attractions. Very confortable bed and big bathroom and Super Breakfast. Staff and Hotel Manager were very helpful in giving information, always with a smile
