I would not recommend this place. We stayed in an apartment that was non smoking but because the guest in the next room smoke to excess it seeped into our room. The comforter for the pull out couch was dirty. The street noise was very loud and went into the wee hours. The elevator did not work and we were... More

Great value hotel, just make sure to ask for one of the newer ones at the back as rooms 1-9 at the front are dated and not as good value. But very good value for the ones at the back. Great central location as well.

Great location, walking distance to the city center and the attractions. Bus stop to the airport is right in front of the guesthouse. Very convenient. The staffs I met were all very kind, friendly and helpful. The warm breakfast was nice, while the cold was quite simple. The bathroom facility of the room in the front part of the guesthouse... Excellent location in central Dublin that is a short walk to all the key sites. Room was reasonably sized, bright, and relatively quiet. The staff was friendly and accommodating. On the downside, overall quality of the hotel room, bed, etc was on par with a two star hotel. The bathroom sink was especially unimpressive requiring you to press it down... More

Recently stayed at Amberley House for a birthday weekend with friends - we had apartment number 9, mattresses on all the beds dipped in the centre, doors squeaked badley (WD40 would be an idea). We were unable to shower during the entire weekend as the electric shower sounded like a generator when it was switched on, then the water ran... More

Stayed for four nights in October. Booked online. Easy access via bus from the airport which virtually stops outside. Warm welcome and delighted to find room was ready early. Several steps in the hotel which could cause some people problems as no lift. Our room located in the more modern extension on the back of the building. Light airy rooms... More

Excellent situation just a few meters from the heart of Dublin. The building is an old house with a lot of stairs, no elevator, however, rooms were clean and very nice. Breakfast is good as well. Staff very kind and helpful.

I was a bit apprehensive about the price for location but it exceeded my expectations! Service is outstanding! The reception staff goes above and beyond. We arrived very early in the morning and they kept our bags while we went exploring and were very helpful with maps and info. The room was beautiful, roomy and very clean! Bathroom and shower... Beautiful B & B, right across the street from the bus that brought us from the airport. The staff members were all wonderful and welcoming, the room was comfortable and lovely, everything was extremely clean. Wonderful Irish breakfast in the morning! We loved staying here and highly recommend it.
