I've found the prefect and most coziest place to stay in Dublin at last! I was greeted by the lady of the house, parked up and shown my room then went downstairs for tea and chocolate biscuits and had a little chat. I have never received such a wonderful welcome. The room was the coziest room I have been in, spotlessly clean with on-suite bathroom. Perfect for me as I had had such a long journey. I went for food in a local pub which was lovely. The house is in a very good position, nice and quite, which is just what I was looking for. So it is now my place to stay anytime I need to in Dublin from now on. Best wishes and many thanks to the owners, I'll be back!
I really liked the hotel. Terry and everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful. Very pleasant stay. Great location near the city: shops, public transport and parks. The room was very clean and tidy.
Would be delighted to stay here again. Close to Vincent’s Hospital. Staff/owners very friendly and accommodating. Room was large, comfortable and clean. Nicely decorated. Great value for money. I left early so didn’t have breakfast.
We stayed at Donnybrook Hall for three nights and absolutely loved it. If you're in Dublin and looking for a convenient, cozy, and relatively inexpensive place to stay, this is it. Donnybrook Hall is in an upscale, suburban-feeling area of Dublin that provides a quiet place to come back to after a night out but is also only a 10-minute bus ride from Temple Bar. We purchased 72-hour bus passes and made great use of them. If you're up for it, you can walk to the city center in about 30 minutes and hit several parks along the way. Our favorite part of Donnybrook Hall was the people who took great care of us. As soon as we arrived, Martina greeted us with maps, suggestions for transit, and a list of places to eat and bars to visit. At any hour, guests can go downstairs to the lounge and have tea or coffee made for them. The owner, Terry, and his staff made the place feel almost like home. We'd highly recommend Donnybrook Hall to anyone traveling to Dublin. Get in, get comfortable, grab an amazing three-course breakfast, and enjoy Dublin with Donnybrook.…
I was on business in Dublin one night only, so a decision to go for a smaller guesthouse type accommodation rather than the larger hotels was a really good one in this case. I had a very comfortable nights slerp in one of the upstairs front rooms. Good warm welcome on arrival. I asked for an iron for my shirt and was shown to the steam iron already set up downstairs. Tea coffee facilities available. Good shower and bathroom. Didnt have the breakfast option as i was leaving early. I needed a receipt but wasnt available on leaving so i left my email address. Rosemary kindly responded with receipt later. I have rebooked again, so looking forward to the stay again.
