An ok budget hotel with a great central location. It's quite "tired" though - public areas as well as rooms and, especially, bathrooms are in dire need of some refurbishment. The floor flooded every time we used the shower as the doors to the cubicle no longer closed properly. Soft furnishings felt a little un-fresh, and so on.

I booked this in a bit of a hurry, and based on the location because I needed to be near where my family were staying- their hotel didn't have any vacancies. My heart sank as I approached the hotel- so dreary on the outside. No better inside- what a dump and so over priced. The staff are doing their best... More

And way overpriced. The staff was helpful. Other than that everything was terrible. Don't stay here. The carpets are dirty and the rooms are claustrophobic. The location is good, close to the university, but the place is so run-down and expensive that I would not recommend this place to anybody.

I initially booked this hotel as friends were going to be staying there. I was very surprised my room did not have a bathroom and I was expected to share. I mentioned my disappointment to the hotel staff and they arranged for me to change rooms the next night. They were extremely helpful and pleasant about it. The other thing... More

Tired and dingy paintwork, feeble & broken shower, broken sash on window so it couldn't be opened without propping it, lumpy bed, dodgy looking wiring on sockets, staff a bit grumpy when I (dared) to complain. I could go on but I'm feeling depressed by the memory already....all for a "bargain" of over 100euros a night!!! If it was a... More

A tidy hotel which we found to be a good location base for getting around Dublin. Has an ensuite twin room on the second floor which was quite spacious but slightly dated and in need of minor repairs but hardly shabby. Found there were no noises from other guests or the bar (which had quite a buzz coming from it... More

For a start: the PRICE! £450 for a twin room for two nights. I am happy to pay money for quality - you would get a double room at the Hotel du Vin in central Birmingham for less, and let me assure you you would get better service and a much much better room. No lift meant our bags had... More

The worst hotel ever. The location is great but all the rest sucks. We couldn't flush out toilet and the bedside lights didn't work. It looks like a hostel. The room was cramped with no space to put things and the bathroom looked like it was last fixed in the 1950s. The man at the desk tried to help but... More

It's a lovely looking building adjacent to Trinity College the room looked nice and was very clean with comfortable bed. When I initially booked I hadn't realise that not all the rooms were ensuite, so it was a shared bathroom, not the end of the world, but for the price it was surprising. My real issue with this place was... More
