I stayed at the Ashling Hotel for three nights . The hotel is in a great location with easy access to many of the great Dublin Attractions. Phoenix Park, the Dublin Zoo and central Dublin within walking distance. The hotel is comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff friendly and attentive. Highly recommended

Good location. Easy access to downtown by bus. Clean and basic. But really 170 euro for a double room with no breakfast service is daylight robbery. Only stayed here as had no other choice. An embarrassment to irish tourism.

I travelled from London on Saturday the 15th of October 16 to stay with my two sisters. We are aged from 39- 55 and were astonished to be put into a cramped room with three beds, suitable only asa family room for three small children. It was right at the top of the house, narrow stair case , cheap furniture,... More

Grim room - it's probably a converted bathroom with toilet at end of the bed - for 98euro! Sign on wall stressing no breakfast. Hadn't time to leave and find alternative as rushing to event. Staff pleasant - not their fault.

Poor accommodation. Small cheaply furnished room charged as a double. Unhelpful proprietor. Cold and unable to turn any heat on. No breakfast although this is not made clear when booking. Cannot even use facilities to make own breakfast. Very poor. Expensive at 90 euros night for small uncomfortable room and no breakfast.

The good: Comfortable single bed and good shower. 15 minute walk to Croke Park, so handy for matches and conferences. Off street parking. The bad: €80 for a single boxy room with no breakfast is expensive. Advertised as b&b on some sites. They have taped up the second b on their b&b sign. Wouldn't stay here again.

Stayed here for a couple of nights recently. It was booked through booking.com in sterling but they wanted Euros... IN CASH! Wasn't told that in the booking. And I think thier exchange was was very generous... for them! My daughter paid with a card in the end and I can't wait to see what it was. It's an old Victorian... More

My family booked at this establishment day before arriving in Dublin. Advertised as bed and breakfast with reserved parking which I required. Upon arrival was met by a woman hostess who verified my booking but when I asked about my reserved parking she said they were full. I was asked what time I intended leaving as I could possibly double... More

I had booked a nights stay at this hotel for carrying out work, unfortunately the planned work did not go ahead and I contacted the guest house to ask politely if maybe they could not charge me the full amount for the room as due to unforeseen circumstances I would not be needing it. I received a prompt reply saying... More
