Hotel's Favorite
Even in the midst of Covid restrictions, here is a hotel that has a friendly welcome and a staff that works exceedingly hard to make things as normal as possible. It is certainly close to Dublin City, but also a fine stay for those travelling to or from the airport. Rooms are spacious and functional with all the usual amenities. Front desk staff are friendly and welcoming. There’s a secure car park (for a few of 10 euro) and a gym for the active,,,though this is at present closed with the Pandemic restrictions. All in all, a very fine Hilton experience at a good price. Let’s hope things get so much better for travellers in the near future.

Reliable hotel with easy access (10 minutes by shuttle) to the airport. Large hotel restaurant and bar so if you don’t want to go into city center Dublin, you can hang out easily. Cons: If it’s hot, the in-room air conditioning is very weak. I’ve stayed here a half-dozen times and the AC isn’t great.

Myself and the family enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the Hilton. We were really impressed with the service we received, especially given that it was at the height of the Covid crisis over the Christmas period. It represented excellent value for money and we enjoyed a lovely meal in its restaurant, Burrells, the breakfast was outstanding too. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, warm and spacious. The bathroom was immaculate and there was a big TV and plenty of storage. The complimentary water was very welcome too. Great views towards Hiwth, Irekands Eye and Portmarnock. Check in was fast and efficient, the staff were so friendly and helpful. I do think charging paying guests €10 for parking is disgraceful especially when you are supporting them through the Covid period. I think they should be grateful for your custom and include that for free. Other than that, an excellent hotel.

Stayed in a 1Bdr + Living Room Suite for 1+ wk Negatives: - Room was either too hot or too cold; air con did not work properly & there was no ability to open the windows - Bed was rock hard and you could feel the springs in your back, left us with severe back pain for days, even after checking out. By far the most uncomfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept on. Staff told us all mattresses were recently replaced and there was nothing they could do. - Room was dated, fixtures were falling off the wall. Sink faucet was loose. Bedroom door nob in the suite was falling off. Shower soap dish was falling off. - Several people walking around the hotel lobby / restaurant with no mask on despite several signs posted. Staff did not enforce the rules and say anything to stop them. It made us feel extremely uncomfortable. - Room service menu was limited - 15-20 Euro taxi ride from the airport Positives: -Helpful staff -Staff provided a fan to address the air con issue, but only helped slightly -Laundry service was good Overall: Would not stay again. Not up to the Hilton standards that I’m used to in the U.S.
