The Beacon is in south County Dublin so a bit of a drive into the centre. That didn't worry me though. I was there for a business meeting the following day. The hotel is modern and quite quirky. Always music playing in the lobby where there is also a purple pool table!! The rooms are comfortable and clean with big... More

I've stayed at the Beacon a few times now. It is a very curious, though not unpleasant experience. First of all the interior design in both public areas and the rooms is an odd mix of what I can only describe as "nightclub meets Barbie". Minibars have been removed from the rooms based on my last visit and now been... More

The hotel itself is great! Well designed and with a lovely pool table in front of the lifts for you to have some fun. The bar is great, and so is the restaurant. Violetta (if I am not wrong) in reception was just the most smiley and helpful person I have ever seen in hotels around Dublin, and that is... More

This was our third stay at the Beacon Hotel. Each visit has been better than the previous one. Our check-in was very friendly, fast and efficient. We also really appreciated the up-grade to a king room. We just love the modern, "quirky" decor of the hotel and in particular the bright and airy bedrooms. The room we had this time... More

Stayed in the Beacon for a night on business and it was a v nice spot. Great design, very contemporary and comfortable. Asian restaurant on site which was lovely. Really fresh tasting food and very attentive staff. Only problem on the night was the noise level from the weather but it was exceptionally windy so couldn't be helped. But very... More

We stayed in this hotel, and were amazingly happy. I wouldn't say that we could be happier. We arrived on New Years day, earlier than check in, yet were upgraded for free as they had a room available. Parking was free, which was great. We had some food at the hotels restaurant the first night, and it was amazing. Great... More

Great Hotel. used it as a base while I attended the Hospital. Free parking meant we didn't have leave until after appointment. Didn't have breakfast as I was fasting , maybe next time. lovely quiet room.

I visited the Beacon hotel for a business meeting in January 2016. There were no menus on the tables, no waiting service, we were clearly looking for service yet no one approached us. In the end I had the leave the meeting, go to the bar and order coffees etc. Apart from the noisy construction work taking place beside us... More
