We stayed here on a Saturday on a recent visit, and were a little apprehensive after reading some reviews about the noise. We have to say that the noise wasn't that bad. we closed our window, which made it all but disappear. I have to say that if you stay in city centre hotel, especially one in the entertainment district... More

Rooms were grubby. Old furnishings. Broken furniture and fixtures. Cracked bathroom tiles. Bed had sunk in the middle. Breakfast was a fry or nothing. Asked for a coffee to be told no, that the machine had been turned off for the day. Terrible hotel and not worth the star rating it gets. And to make matters worse, the air did... More

While there were some very nice things about this experience that I did enjoy, I have to say there were many I did not. I went there with a girlfriend for a day spa outing. We booked in for the Best friends, bubbles and bliss package, the price was pretty good as it was mid-week. We got two treatments each... More

Rooms at this hotel are larger than one would expect in Europe. They are nicely appointed but getting a bit tired, particularly the bathrooms. We stayed on the street side of the hotel which turned out to be sleep prohibitive unless one had earplugs. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. One needs to walk up a flight... The hotel is stylish and very well located, the in-house bar and restaurant are pretty cool, the staff are friendly and helpful. The main drawback is the lift situation, which is a bit confusing. Not many great views are on offer, but the rooms are a decent size and the beds are comfortable.

This hotel is in a great location for Dublin. Close to all the shops, restuarants, bars and pubs. Its very nice and clean in the rooms. Beds are comfy. Biggest fault this place has is that its NOT wheelchair accessable at all. It has way to many steps to get anywhere around the hotel. They do have a life however... More

We booked in on a Saturday night, the receptionist informed us that the room was located at a noisy area. We didn't really mind this, but it was a lot worse than we thought! We couldn't get to sleep until 4am, and bottles were constantly being thrown in to rubbish bins until the early hours of the morning. The room... More

I was interested to see the last few reviews which gave very low scores due to noise. We were on the third floor with windows open due to the heat but honestly only had noise issues with the seagulls! Our room was quite quirky and could benefit with some simple changes but no complaints. Overall I would say Dublin is... More

I am writing this review at 02:25 on a Friday when the hotel's associate restaurant / club has music. We asked for a quiet room before arriving and it was confirmed this was the case. The "quiet" room was anything but. On the first night we could not sleep because of music and changed rooms on the second day. On... More

I had to postpone my return flight from Dublin because a relative was taken into hospital so I had to stay the nigh in Dublin. I booked a room in the Dawson Hotel after midnight after a tiring and worrying day in hospital. I booked the room via booking,.com and paid in excess of 100 euros. When I arrived at... More
