The lady who runs the place is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The building is old and at least our room was very small, just enough for a double bed. The bathroom was even tinier. Our room was one level up from the street and there was quite a lot of noise from passing cars, people returning from... More

Had 2 nights here to start our holiday in Ireland. Easy drive in from the airport and walking distance from the city centre was ideal. Lovely hosts make you feel at home and full Irish breakfast was a treat. Shower and en-suite on a whole were a bit cramped but the room was clean and comfortable. Street parking was plentiful,... The staff were very kind and welcoming, it felt as though we were staying at a relatives house which was great. The room was clean and traditionally decorated which helped add to the authentic Irish trip feeling. Although the furnishings were dated, it was suitable considering the age of the building. The mattress was quite hard for me but my... More

Me and husband stayed here for two nights for a weekend away. Catherine the owner was lovely. The Irish breakfast is lovely. The location is about 10 minute walk away from the main centre. The room was okay, the en suite was a little small but okay.

We decided to see Dublin and spent 3 days here for a quick little getaway. We kept an open mind with the intent to see and do as much as possible. We have never stayed at a bnb before but I'm pleased to say that I'm happy it was at Marian guest house. She was a very lovely lady and... More

Clean & tidy but as a single unworldly traveller I found the airplane size toilet area and shower in a closet quite unnerving and also the small single room with sloping floor on third floor. The breakfast was good and the only time I saw the hosts.

I´m not sure about the other rooms but the single room is not good. Very small with no facilities (but a ~40 years old TV); - Bathroom was not clean; - Staff was rude when I asked for an adapter at 22h; - Internet service unavailable (except if you stay behind the door´s room)

Lovely proprietors and about a 10 minute walk into the centre of Dublin. There was quite a lot of rubbish on the street. The room was clean though and breakfast was OK . They let us leave luggage there whilst waiting to check-in.

An excellent central location. Clean and quiet. My hosts were pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!!! I had a single room with a shared bathroom which was fine for me. Not luxurious but clean and comfortable.
