After our previous Dublin accommodation fell through, we found this hotel at extremely short notice and they were very accommodating. The room was spacious and had some nice old world charm. The staff went above and beyond for us, were very knowledgeable about the area, friendly and professional, and helpful at all times. Particularly Alexandra on the concierge desk. The... More

Basic accommodation in a great central area of the city. Surrounded by great pubs, restaurants and transport links. Rooms on the lower levels at the front can be noisy at night. Would recommend for younger travellers due to the potential noise. Breakfast, basic but fine. Staff courteous, rooms basic but clean.

Good: Staff, Location, Towels Terrible: Noise from nightclub, condition of walls(dirty and chipped up-need fixing and painting badly), bathtub surround cracked and not repaired (room 504), dingy rugs, electrical in room is a confusing nightmare with 3 way switches everwhere, light bulbs burned out, safe does not work in room(they said safe company will not service them any longer?), NO... Yes, it's a crap hotel. But the location is absolutely fantastic and the staff, insofar as we spoke to them over three nights, were very polite. We went to Dublin to see Dublin, not to stay in a hotel room. If you are the same, and just looking for a place to kip, then this is ideal because of the... More

I stayed here based on the price and the location, and it was a great stay. They were very accommodating when we got there a bit early, and let us store our luggage while we walked around and got breakfast before coming back to check-in. The location is great, so close to Grafton Street and easy to walk to other... More

After reading reviews I was quite anxious about staying here but our stay has been grand. It is in the middle of everything and the rooms whilst they need renovation are large and comfortable. The office and dining room staff are superb and helpful! Their suggestions have been sound. Internet is slow and limited to a floor. I think this... More

I arrived in this hotel thinking it would be ok as reviews weren't so bad. I was mortified to bring my boyfriend here. Welcome to Ireland.. shame on you, whoever the owners are. Rough, sloppy are the only words. In this day and age,I was shocked to see such a place. No wifi. Room so old... needs renovating badly. Very little selection... More

We stayed in Grafton capital for one night a few weeks ago and we really enjoed it. All staff were more than helpfull and friendly. Got an upgrade free of charge. Lovely breakfast the following morning and the hotel is in a great location on Grafton street. Would definitely reccomend and would definitely be staying here again.

There was blood on the bed upon check in. Do you even need to read the rest of this review? Avoid this hotel. This review comes after my second stay at the hotel in a year. I hadn't stayed during the weekend on my first visit but I did this time. Needless to say I was surprised to discover that... More

This Hotel is Stuck in 1992 technology. Wifi on the first floor only and with a speed like v40 modem. Then are there many sockets in your room, but only two at actual standart. And one was broken. The TV was 1992 also and the entire hotel worn out and is in a bitter need of renovation and upgrading.
