We just spent one nigth at the hostel but it was enough. The toilet/showering room was not just dirty as if it hadnt seen soap or anything like that in month but it also smelled terribly after mold. (I couldnt see a lot of mold but the smell of it was everywhere). Then, when we checked in they said, after... More

Pros - Comfy beds, fantastic location and cheap, friendly stafff Cons - no wifi, no airport bus, early checkout, bathroom floors need to be cleaned. First time staying in a hostel so we werent too sure what to expect. 4 of us stayed in a 8bed female dorm. 2 of the other guests took our pillows and we didnt arrive... More

After walking around the somewhat sketchy corner for 15 minutes trying to find it and taking a break at the local pizza place, we finally found the "palace" and were checked in by a rude attendant. When we entered the first hallway, beautifully carpeted with stains and years of grime, it was clear that we had forgotten to review trip... More

If you are thinking about staying at Paddy's Palace, don't. It is the worst of the worst. This hostel is the most dirtiest, run down hostel I have ever stayed in. It is not safe as more permanent male residents hang out and smoke outside the washrooms/hallways and cat call you as you go to the bathroom. I felt more... More

Just arrived and I already know I'm NEVER coming back again. Room is tiny and disgustingly muggy, windows are filthy and covered with a grimey piece of cloth. Bathrooms do this place no favours either, no lock and nowhere to dry your hands! So not worth the money being charged! Avoid at all costs.

I was lucky to get a room here at the last minute on a Saturday. But it was because a couple had just canceled after seeing the room. The bed was clean, but otherwise the room was not great. A piece of cloth covered a rickety old closed window. A guy was in the hall much of the night talking... More

We were 6 people travelling together, we have booked long time in advance a room with 6 beds. Upon check in the receptionist told us that there is no more rooms for 6 available but we can have 2 rooms for us (4 beds in each rooms), when we checked 1 room was dirty and the other one was on... More

Room is ridiculously small. Ceiling is so short it's impossible to climb the bunk bed without bending (you cannot sit in the ledge of the top bed. Your head would hit the ceiling). Because you sleep a few centimeters away from the ceiling, you hear people stepping on the floor above, which makes falling asleep quite a challenge. One of... More

Paddy's place is a hostel so don't expect hotel like accommodation. Our room was clean enough and the staff were OK. The location is really good. It's around the corner from the central bus station where the airport bus stops as well as the tram that takes to to the Guinness brewery. It's also about a 15 min walk away... More

The night receptionist was very rude to us when asking simple questions. Further, the breakfast is not the best, can't expect much, I suppose. The rooms were okay for a hostel. I probably wouldn't stay here again. The only pros I see is that it's close to the city centre.
