This is a well appointed resort hotel which is a bit over a mile from the attractions in downtown Dublin. The staff was friendly, the room large, and the bed comfortable. The not great part was the lack of cooling in the overly warm room....More
I enjoyed my stay here. The room was spacious and clean. Linens were good and the bed comfy. The location was convenient to dining and transportation. It was a nice day and we were able to walk into town and the Temple Bar district. No...More

Unless you really like to walk, you have two options. Cabs are not particularly expensive or you can take the hop on/off bus. There is a bus stop right in front of the Ballsbridge and the bus goes to both locations. I would opt for the bus unless you are in a hurry. They are informative and you can hop on and off at convenient locations all day. Where a taxi you pay at every stop.
