Gerry the host greeted us and made us feel very welcome. We had a ground floor double room which was clean, and very comfortable. Breakfasts were great, with ample food and very tasty. The home is a short bus trip to and from the centre of the City. Bus services are very frequent and the bus stop is only five... More

Must say I was quite disappointed after reading all the reviews. This was definitely the worst of the B & B's we stayed at while in Ireland. Our host was very friendly, however the accommodations were just average, at best. The room had some issues. On check in, one of our glasses was not clean. The room also was not... More

Beech Lodge B&B has some well furnished rooms with good bus links to the city centre. The B&B is about 5 km from the city centre and has three or four busses going in. The only downside to the place is noise of the traffic if you are staying in the rooms facing the road. Apart from that, it is... More

A warm welcome to start with. The owner gives lots of information and helpes out where possible. We had a very nice clean well maintained room. Bathroom and shower in good condition. The breakfast was incredible. Good transportation to the city I like this place a lot better than a Hotel. I would certainly stay there again

Beech Lodge exceeded our expectations! From the moment we were greeted by Gerry to the time we left, our stay was perfect. We stayed for 5 nights and did a day trip to the cliffs of Moher and another day trip to Howth. Home cooked breakfasts are amazing, room was clean and bed was very comfortable, and the location is... Host Gerry is attentive, respectful and amazing. The breakfasts are cooked to order and consistently excellent. Guests can come and go as they please. The rooms are bright and comfortable. The breakfast room has a sitting area that is available for relaxing at any time, and provides a place to chill. The WiFi is better than most hotels. The location... More

We decided to spend the Easter week in Dublin to see relations, celebrate the 100 year anniversery of the uprising and to see old haunts. Being some years since our last visit to Dublin and being the first time we would have to stay in B&B instead of with members of the family ( the grim reaper was busy in... More
