Gerry was wonderful!! He explained everything we needed to know to travel in and out of the city (so easy from Beech Lodge!!) Breakfast was amazing every morning! His traditional and his omelets, top notch. We stayed there for 5 nights and had an early morning flight out of Dublin, and Gerry arranged a taxi for us and left us... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. Gerry was so helpful, giving us advice on everything. Short bus ride in to town. Breakfast was amazing, lovely varied menu. Fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt. Will definitely stay at Beech Lodge again. Thankyou Gerry.

There is a reason this B&B is ranked number one in Dublin. The owner, Gerry, was the perfect host: pleasant, thoughtful, and always too happy to help, which made a real difference to the smoothness of our trip. Touches like breakfast cooked to order and a custom bus instruction sheet on arrival made such a difference. Thanks for a wonderful... More

Dublin is big - and due to a lot of construction work it can be difficult to find the way by one self. This lodge is placed like 15 minutes from center by bus . Sometimes it would irritate me - but here its perfect. The breakfast is excellent and you really get great service. The host know about things... More

Gerry the host greeted us and made us feel very welcome. We had a ground floor double room which was clean, and very comfortable. Breakfasts were great, with ample food and very tasty. The home is a short bus trip to and from the centre of the City. Bus services are very frequent and the bus stop is only five... More

Must say I was quite disappointed after reading all the reviews. This was definitely the worst of the B & B's we stayed at while in Ireland. Our host was very friendly, however the accommodations were just average, at best. The room had some issues. On check in, one of our glasses was not clean. The room also was not... More

Beech Lodge B&B has some well furnished rooms with good bus links to the city centre. The B&B is about 5 km from the city centre and has three or four busses going in. The only downside to the place is noise of the traffic if you are staying in the rooms facing the road. Apart from that, it is... More

A warm welcome to start with. The owner gives lots of information and helpes out where possible. We had a very nice clean well maintained room. Bathroom and shower in good condition. The breakfast was incredible. Good transportation to the city I like this place a lot better than a Hotel. I would certainly stay there again

Beech Lodge exceeded our expectations! From the moment we were greeted by Gerry to the time we left, our stay was perfect. We stayed for 5 nights and did a day trip to the cliffs of Moher and another day trip to Howth. Home cooked breakfasts are amazing, room was clean and bed was very comfortable, and the location is...
