I love this hotel and it’s simple and modern design. In dublin it certainly is one of the better and most comfortable. Great wonderful and comfortable beds, lovely modern bathrooms and power showers. The breakfast buffet has a wonderful choice and attentive staff.

I’m in two minds about this place... I travel to Dublin often from Kerry & love the city. I’ve passed the Alex numerous times & always wanted to stay here. Check in was ok... instructions to the car park were so unclear we asked 3 times then felt that we would be able to find it

Dear Guest, I welcome reviews that are balanced, constructive, correct, helpful and more than anything objective to ultimately describe an experience to readers. However, I am uncomfortable with some of the language used to describe someone and how someone's demeanour is viewed. I find it hurtful to staff members mentioned in this way, its personal and its crass. Items you have pointed out like the steak, the bedroom door and the car park, we are addressing these. For these said issues we are sorry that we didn't hit the mark. Regards Paul Joy General Manager paul.joy@thealexhotel.ie

If you have the Alex on your left you will have to drive for ~350 Mt more. Parking will be on your right marked Alexander Court... You will have to ask The Alex the first code...

Pretty much opposite the hotel, to the left and under ground. It was €18 over night. Reception will need to give you the access code to enter the main gate and the pedestrian gate.
