I really enjoyed my stay - the room, staff and atmosphere were lovely. I'd definitely return. Literally only problem is the absence of kitchen, even just a toaster and kettle. I didn't like having my only realistic options being eating out or eating the somewhat overpriced breakfast on offer. Other than that, loved it! Would definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay here. We stay for two nights while in dublin on the drinking weekend. As one of our group was in a wheelchair, access was the top priority. The wheelchair access throughout the hostel was great, especially in the wheelchair friendly room. Although it's easier to book a wheelchair room over the phone or by email 😉....

I have stayed in four of these hostels and I would say this is the best one. We got a private room and actually we were upgraded upon arrival which was nice. The staff was friendly and their location was cool and very centrally located. We loved the common shared areas like the bar. I was surprised, happily, to see...

Staff of the hostel couldn't do enough for us. They assist us with luggage and helping us use their facilities and allowed us to make it home from home. The venue itself is clean and very laid back atmosphere. Allowing you to enjoy your stay hassle free. Ideally located just on the outskirts of temple bar. Can walk within 20mins...

Traveled here with 3 friends for my 21st birthday. Flights and Hostel were ridiculously cheap so wasn't expecting the ritz. Arrived in Dublin early in the morning and couldn't check in until 2. However the staff were lovely and friendly and gave us suggestions on what to do and the lockers were only 3 euros for 6 hours so could...

Great experience staying at the Generator! Great location (short walk to the Temple Bar area for lots of pubs). The staff was welcoming and extremely friendly. A big plus was that there were multiple showers, outlets in every bed, and a fun cafe/bar to hang out at. I would definitely recommend staying here to a friend.

I live next door to the Generator, and needed a post label printed quickly as a courier was arriving soon. I phoned the Generator and asked if they facilities to print. After I'd explained what I needed I was told to pop in and they would print one off for me! Being computer illiterate, I couldn't forward the label email...
