The hostel “Generator” is really nice and the help of the staff i.e. Carlos from “Generator” was very helpful and professional. He informed me about the best touristic places either in Dublin as well as the rest of the island e.g Galway, Belfast…, as well as what to do during the night, places and pubs to have a good meal or take some Guiness beers, etc.
The hostel is very expensive, the shower isnt working and the bathroom no clean, I honestly hoped more quality because is very expensive. Staff is good, very polite. The breakfast with juice is not good and a couple of options to eat.
The shower isnt work and I adivced the staff. The bathroom is not good! The price is very expensive but the hostel isnt good, sorry. Good local in Dublin, staff is polite but I hopped the better hostel.
Nice enough spot located near the city centre in Dublin. Wonderful staff and some nice facilites available such as luggage areas to store important items and entertainment from the bar, pool tables and dart boards. No real quiet area outside of the rooms themselves but even then the walls seemed pretty thin with noise from both the place itself and outside slipping in. If you needed someplace decently priced to stay near the city centre, I'd say go for it.
The concept of the hostel is good. However, it is pricey and definitely not worth the money. The bedroom was not very clean and the bathroom was full of hand soap since the container was leaking. The breakfast was really poor with a very limited selection. Also at the reception we had some issues and they did not want to give us the breakfast token since they were reading their system wrongly. We had to prove with the receipt that we had paid in advance for the breakfast and then they accepted giving them to us.
I really enjoyed my stay in Dublin. Everything important is in walkable distance. The employees are friendly and helpful. You can even go up onto a small tower for 5 euros and have a nice view over the city.
Staff good, very pleasant and mainly helpful. Beds reasonable sleep ok. Shower Average. Toilets- urine on floor unmopped for over 12 hours, literally waded through it. Reported- @ 5pm still there 8am.
Nice place, too bad they had large puddles of shitwater in the bathroom every night. It was so gross and the staff was not particularly friendly. Other than that it was a nice location and I guess fine.
I had a terrific time at the hostel. I truly enjoyed my time there. I met amazing international travelers and the accommodation was spectacular. The room I stayed in was big, clean and very well organized. The staff was super nice and friendly. I recommend this place 100%.
The location is good, close to a market, Jameson & Guinness. We were kind of far from Grafton St (shopping) and a lot of the bars/clubs (but that’s on us because we chose this location). The staff is great! Incredibly nice and helpful. Our issues stem from the rooms. Their storage containers are incredibly loud, no matter how slow you move or quiet you try to be. You will wake everyone up every time you have to open it. The other big issue is a doors. They slam even if you manually try to softly close them. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everyone else on your floors door slam also. Overall, location and the space itself was pretty cool. We hardly slept due to the issues above and the construction outside our widow. Sunrise was 5am and the construction definitely started before then.…
