I stayed at the Central Hotel, Dublin for a week. The room was very small, right at the top of the building, the window is small, actually there are two windows, I couldn't close the outer one so I could hear the noise from the street. There is free wifi, there is no parking, there are lifts, slow but there's...

This hotel is just what it says 'central' to all the Dublin fun..there are pubs all around and The temple bar is about 5 mins walk. The rooms are mostly multiple occupancy or singles from what I saw. They are perfectly clean and have their own bathrooms. We were there for my daughters hen do so it was perfect for...

I will start with the positives. It is in a great location and the staff are helpful. I asked for a room with a bath and got one. It was also good value. But, I had a cold shower one morning, half the lights in the room did not work (and there weren't many anyway) plus the noise of talking...

We stayed in a quad room which was incredibly reasonable considering it consisted of 1 double and 2 singles but looked like it could have been 4 singles if requested. No fridge and hairdryer wasn't powerful but was all clean and tidy. Location was amazing, right between Grafton Street and Temple Bar and the Library Bar within hotel was lovely...

I have stayed here many times & it's my first choice hotel when spending a night in Dublin. Stayed in Room 406 this time, it was small but very clean & the bed was very comfortable. Staff are always welcoming & friendly.

This is an extremely overpriced hotel which is far from 3 star. Accepting it is a listed building with limitations as to what refurbishment works can be done does not excuse the very poor state of the facilities. Screws used to hold toilet door locks in place, shabby fixtures, fittings & furniture, worn & dirty carpets & curtains falling off...
