I have stayed here many times & it's my first choice hotel when spending a night in Dublin. Stayed in Room 406 this time, it was small but very clean & the bed was very comfortable. Staff are always welcoming & friendly.

Smooth check in The library on first floor cozy with real fire, comfortable couches and quite quaint. Staff are attentive and helpful. Room was small but it was comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and great selection. I'd definitely stay again

This is an extremely overpriced hotel which is far from 3 star. Accepting it is a listed building with limitations as to what refurbishment works can be done does not excuse the very poor state of the facilities. Screws used to hold toilet door locks in place, shabby fixtures, fittings & furniture, worn & dirty carpets & curtains falling off...

Average hotel, fairly well placed, but I was very disappointed when we returned ( before midnight) to the hotel for a night cap, the bar was closed. The night porter refused to give us a drink , anywhere, so we had to go to bed. Poor show the week before Christmas. Wouldn't recommend it.

The atmosphere was electric, staff very friendly and service great. Price were in line and not overdone like some places in Temple Bar. Keep watching out...

Have stayed at this hotel on a few occasions, primarily because of it's great location in Dublin. 5 minute walk from Grafton street and close to a buzzing area of bars and restaurants. Friendly staff, good breakfast and a nice relaxing bar area on the first floor. From train station take Luas to Jervis St and then a 10 minute...

I stayed for a one night business trip with a colleague. It is ideal for going out to the bars and parking is a stroll away. The bar is friendly and the Guinness apparently award winning so worth having in front of the real fires. The room was tired and lighting very poor so disappointing but I slept well. Its...

This hotel is in a perfect location in the centre of Dublin, the staff are great, and there is a wonderful bar (The Library Bar), but that's about it !! The rooms are cramped, tired and noisy, and overall I found this hotel far too expensive for what it offers. I was looking for a hotel in Dublin months in...

Lovely old hotel, extremely convenient to everything. Dublin Castle on the street behind the hotel. Many good restaurants in immediate vicinity. Tourist office 2 blocks away and all shopping. Only problem was noisy which I was made aware of but chose the hotel anyway because Dublin is a noisy town and there is always something going on. Staff is lovely...
