I was part of a group of 28 persons who arrived on 9th August for a two night stay. I must say that our arrival was a pleasant experience, no waiting for check in and all rooms allocated prior to our visit. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The evening meal was top class and the staff friendly and... More

Stayed for one night 16.8.16. Nothing was really explained at check in arrived at leasure centre to be told i needed a leisure card (witg the attitude i should know!) oh and that i need a head cap to use pool (cost 3 euros). Pool is really nice but it is unsupervised and some kids were running wild and using... More

Stayed here for my anniversary in May/June 2016. The hotel was very dated and I was slightly annoyed the breakfast was a extra charge considering the price paid for the hotel. That said, the stay was nice and I really enjoyed my self! The city centre is a short bus ride away or you could walk it - took us... More

When we arrived we were a few hours before check in which upon arrival they explained check in will be at 3pm not 2pm they took our suitcases from us and we started our day from there, when coming to our room it was on the... Don't be put off by the drab exterior of this hotel - inside was perfectly adequate if a little outdated. Betwixt the Airport and the City we found this to be an ideal location for our needs. The No.16 bus became our new best friend! Rooms were comfortable and it was nice for our daughter to have a proper bed... More

I have stayed in the Regency a few times over the past five years. The number one reason for me staying is always the free access to their leisure centre with its nice swimming pool. The hotel rooms vary in size and comfort. The older rooms do feel oldish, but they do for a not too demanding guest. The beds... More

Strengths: hot water, heating and breakfast. Improvements needed: price, better bar menu ( almost everything is fried) and a better arrangement to keep guests separate from the current housing for homeless families who often cause rows with their own reception area. Altogether rather run down.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my partner and 4 children. When we arrived at the hotel to check in a maintenance worker was in our room trying to carryout a plumbing repair. This was unsuccessful and one of the sinks was out of order for our 2 nights stay. The shower was also broken a a funny smell... More

Spent 2 nights in this hotel with the family in July and can safely say I won't be back. It is so outdated, scruffy and well below the standards required. The staff in general are good but the cook in the kitchen at breakfast time was awful. She was angry, obviously hated her job and basically lacked manners. She was... More

I would like to thank the staff at the Regency hotel for making our trip to Dublin special. The hotel is in a great location and has a great leisure centre to keep the kids entertained. Will be back for another visit in the future.
