We spent 3 nights in Waterloo House together with my wife. The accommodation was excellent and the staff were more than eager to help us - thank you very much! The room was clean and it corresponded to the pictures posted. The only minor issue was the distance to city centre. Although it's not that far, getting back to the... More

A short walk from many of the sites. Free parking included is definately a plus. The rooms however are quite small but nicely appointed. Very difficult to fit the luggage of three persons into. Be careful of your booking because one of our rooms included breakfast and the other two did not. The room for three only provided towels and... More

My wife and I stayed at Waterloo House the Sat/Sun nights of the August Bank holiday. Our room was quite adequate for 2 persons with a walk in shower. The bed was comfortable and the room and shower area were very clean. The staff were friendly and breakfast was very good, good choice, step up from the usual "Irish". Location... More

We stayed here on our first night in Dublin. Easy to get to on the airport bus and a short walk. Comfortable room with bath and well appointed. We were on street level and it was quiet. Close to shops and eateries. Breakfast was fabulous and served in a lovely conservatory. Staff at tentative and friendly. Will definitely return if... More

At our last holiday, we booked the Waterloo Hotel - three nights at the beginning and one night at the end of our visting to Ireland. The first stay in the hotel was okay. We had a double room upstairs. It was big enough for two people. The second stay we were accommodated in a very small room in the basement.... More

My husband and I stayed at the Waterloo House for 2 nights in June. We had a nice stay and loved the breakfast. I had the best waffle ever, and enjoyed the buffet spread as well. We walked downtown with ease and also enjoyed the restaurants and pubs close to the B&B.

Needed a place that was accessible for mobility impaired. The Waterloo meets that requirement in spirit but not always the letter. Entry was gained by going down a ramp and waiting for someone to go inside, downstairs, and walk around and open the door. Room access still required navigating a small staircase, and the rail was only screwed into plaster... More

Stayed here on a business trip and although it did everything I needed it to, it offers little else. A large but dated decor, doesn't accept AMEX, and not a lot of charm to the place. Nothing to make make me mark it down, but nothing to make my mark it up either.

I love this location, away front the tourist crowded city center but within a short walking distance to grafton st. The Neighborhood is very cute with a nice collection of small restaurants and quaint pubs. I felt no need to stray far for anything. The rooms are clean, the facilities are professionally run, and the staff are exceptionally helpful. It... More

Excellent accommodations with very friendly and helpful staff. Within comfortable walking distance of good food and drink and not much longer for shopping, St. Stephen’s Green and Trinity College. I highly recommend this property.
