Number 31 is one of the most beloved boltholes in Georgian Dublin City Centre. A luxury Guesthouse renowned for our personal service, top notch breakfast and luxuriously laid-back atmosphere. Number 31 is Dublin’s premier tucked away place to stay, combining the best of two worlds; a classical Georgian townhouse and a light filled modernist mews. It is an oasis of peace and quiet, hidden behind a high creeper-clad wall, right on the city’s Georgian Mile. A popular choice for design enthusiasts, here light colour and texture all combine in a a gentle ambiance of peace and calm. The combination of spacious and supremely comfortable accommodation, warm hospitality, an exceptional location and Number 31’s renowned breakfast has made here a destination of choice for many a seasoned traveller and sealed its reputation as serving the Best Breakfast in Dublin among those in the know. No surprise it was awarded Georgina Campbell’s 2017 Guesthouse of the Year.

Just spent a lovely two night stay at 31. Room very comfortable, ground floor room no 11. Staff all very welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts were amazing and in particular was Deliah’s Cranberry loaf which was absolutely delicious, we couldn’t get enough of it. Our 1 year old

Couldn’t recommend Number 31 more! Have stayed a number of times in the past as it is in a great location for visiting Dublin. However, this was our first time staying as a family of 3 with our 1 year old son and the staff could not have done more to accommodate us. Delia’s

I’m having trouble with this review as the staff, position and breakfast all receive top marks but the rooms fell way short of my expectations. My issue is with the oversell on the rooms where the pictures on the booking form did not represent the small box attic rooms we were

One of the best guesthouses I have ever stayed in! The room was comfortable and well decorated, the breakfast was amazing with nothing being too much trouble. I would definitely recommend the Eggs Benedict if you are staying for breakfast. The hotel manager was amazing, she

Just back from two days at Number 31, whilst exploring Dublin. We received a friendly welcome on arrival at the hotel, and were shown to a room in the Georgian townhouse section, across the courtyard. We had a really nice sized room, with an excellent bed and a well-appointed

What are the check in/ check out times, Please ?
My apologies, just seeing this now. I don't remember but I would say that the staff/owners are extremely kind and accommodating. I am fairly certain we showed up approximately 2pm.

sorry did not see this sooner - I would talk to hotel owner - every room seems different - my husband and I are on the short side but the bed seemed plenty big enough.

I was wondering if there was parking onsite?
No long term parking outside. They have a very secure car parking area (lot) nearby. The staff will valet park for you. We did not find this inconvenient. There was no charge for this. If you need to park for an hour or two you can park on Fitzwilliam Place and enter via the main front door. That said, if you do park on Fitzwilliam Place, you may need to keep an eye on the meter. Street parking overnight no charge, and the weekend, signs detail restrictions. Allow them to valet park far easier. Dublin is a very walking friendly city so once you get to No 31 use the bus, taxi or Luas (Tram). Download the Hailo app for taxis. Marvellous service, gives drivers name, plate number, ETA and you can register your CC to prepay with preset tip. Hope this info helps, enjoy your visit!
