My friend and I just left after spending three nights there and we totally loved our experience. First, they were super helpful at the front desk, the chick there rocked. There was a mistake with my booking (my fault) and they were so nice helping me sort it out. I felt really dumb but they were super understanding. The rooms... More

Actually there was no hotel stay as we were so disappointed with this hotel and the room we were assigned that we left. The manager and the owner refused to give us any of our money back in spite of our numerous complaints about the place. 3+ flights of narrow staircase and no lift. People doing drug deals right outside... More

We stayed at Celtic Lodge at the beginning of September. Booking directly through their website we got breakfast included too (which was fantastic). Staff are really friendly and helpful, from reception, to breakfast staff to the room cleaners, everyone greeted us with a massive smile. The room was small but we didn't need anything else. We heard no noise whatsoever... More

We stayed for a couple of nights and our room was up three floors, very small, it was warm weather but we couldn't leave the window open because of the noise from the street outside. There were electrical issues when we arrived so the wifi wasn't working which we needed to work out our schedule. It was fixed upon our... More

We decided to stay on the north side of Liffey this time and the Celtic Lodge is located in the area we wanted to explore. We loved it! BUT then again we were't very happy about the small room we got (where we had some problems with the lightbulbs and the TV) where my tall husband barely was able to... More

We booked to stay at the Celtic Lodge Guesthouse for two nights to break up our travel to Las Vegas. Before booking, I had emailed the Guesthouse to ask for information on check-in and check-out as we would be arriving past midnight and leaving early morning. They responded very quickly to let me know they have a 24 hour reception... More

This hotel has everything you need for a short stay and is in a great central location. I didn't mind that the room was small but the only problem I had, which might not apply to every room, was that at night I could hear a lot of noise from nearby restaurants. However, we still enjoyed our stay and the... More

This was a great find! A smallish, old style, guesthouse in a very central position. Easy walking to most areas. The rooms are quite small but comfortable but what really makes this place is the staff, they are always extremely helpful and accommodating from the Manager to the friendly girls in the breakfast room. as it is fairly old there... We stayed 2 nights here while we saw the sights of Dublin. It was centrally located without being too noisy at night. The rooms are small and basic but were very clean and serviced daily. There is also an in-room safe. Front desk staff were always friendly and they are there 24/7. The wifi didn't work up on our level... More

Danny and Paul were great as we had booked the wrong dates and they took care of us in finding us a room last minute! Room and bathroom were small but clean. Cons for families visiting were no lift for the buggie, lack of attention by servers in the dining room and lack of a menu for breakfast (though they... More
