I did not stay, but a quick walk about the floor (2) that I was assigned and a scan of the room from the doorway, was enough. There is no lift so if you're not a backpacker, be advised you have a long narrow double staircase to climb before you get to the reception counter. Room doors are plywood interior... More

The location is great very close to all major shopping streets and venues. It is very reasonably priced for what you are getting. Staff very friendly and helpful especially the two girls on reception. I had a bit of an embarrassing situation with opening my room door couldn't quiet get the hang of it but the girls were very eager... More

Excellent stay right in the heart of the city, what a beautiful place it is, take plenty of cash though if your going on a bender because you'll spend it! Temple bar is very lively with live music on in Most bars. Clifton court is a very good hotel for the price and the bar downstairs is great! The breakfast... More

Dublin was really busy when we went for a flying one night visit. This hotel was the most affordable but at €110 for the night room only was hardly cheap! The hotel is well located next to o Connell bridge and on the river front, above an Irish pub. The airlink 747 bus drops just round the corner and is... More

I'll start with the stairs. Flights and flights of steep, dark stairs which get narrower as you ascend. The red carpet stinks of rot, mould and fat from the kitchen. They definitely seem to be concealing something very sinister. The constricting corridors leading to the cells are lined with black curtains. The cells are protected by unpainted, plywood doors bearing... More

I stayed 2 nights & would class this place as OK. It's a bed in a room & as a crash pad it does the job. Room was small with a double bed & a bathroom. It is very dated & I had no windows. The room was tired & had maintenance issues... But all I needed worked. I would... More

Well located on the north bank of the River Liffey, a short walk to much of Ireland's history. O'Connell St., the GPO, Parnell's monument and the new Spire. The Clifton offers good rooms, food and three music venues (one is an independent venture) which will appeal to every music taste. Very close to all transit services and a short walk... More

Positives: Excellent location for city center/temple, friendly staff and comfy beds. Negatives: Outdated, scruffy looking, not the cleanest hotel, smallest bathroom i've ever seen. If your visiting for a weekend with friends to drink/eat and sight see then i would defiantly recommend this hotel (you get what you pay for and the location makes up for it being scruffy)!!!!! If... The best feature in this hotel is its location, second is the price. There is nothing really missing (save airconditioning), but everything is more or less outdated. Hotel is suitable for a short stay with limited budget. Do not expect to sleep without any disturbances. This is in the center, remember. WiFi was free, but unreliable, especially in the inner...
