Wishing all the staff of the Aishling hotel a happy and safe Christmas and all the best for 2022. Thank you all so much for treating us so well during the last year from the height of the pandemic in Jan/Feb to our last visit in October. I stayed there for a couple nights at the beginning of this December. We were able to do a late check in (our flight arrived late in the evening). Staff was tremendously kind during our whole stay. My room was comfy and spacious enough for two people. It was disinfected previous to our arrival and because of COVID, you had to specifically ask for fresh towels or anything you might need, as no service was performed without request. We had half board, and we were able to change dinner for lunch a day we knew we couldn’t make it. Any doubts are easily solved by the reception desk staff either by phone or face to face. Also, you can ask for pizza to your room if you miss dinner (a little inconvenience is that the dining room closes at 8:30 pm). It’s conveniently located at a 20 min walk distance from the city centre and you can park in their own parking if you rent a car. Overall, I would totally recommend it.

Having stayed many times at the Ashling it has to be one of the most comfortable welcoming places ever. Jamie and the team are doing a fantastic job despite the difficult circumstances. The hospitality and service are exceptional and its always such a pleasure to return. Rooms are so comfortable and Iveagh Bar is a lovely place to relax. Breakfast fantastic as ever and look forward to our next stay. A great location and easy 10 minutes into city centre on LUAS. Nice easy 10 minute walk up into Phoenix Park and also worth walking into Stoneybatter to see a different side of Dublin. You don't need to go as far as city centre as there are good pubs nearby and also in Smithfield area that is seeing a lot of regeneration. Good car park, if a little tight but a real bonus if driving into Dublin and an easy 20 minute drive to the port or onto motorway if travelling out of Dublin. We stay in many hotels but nothing compares to our visits to the Ashling and its always great to be back. Do not hesitate to book and stay here as you will not be disappointed.
