On entering the hotel I was challenged by a man in a yellow florescent jacket who demanded to know who I was and what my business was. He also asked if I was a resident and only stood aside when I answered his question. Not the type of reception one expects on entering a hotel in the centre of Dublin... More

We should have known something was up when the taxi driver laughed when we told him the hotel were were staying at. He told us it is a very popular street for nightclubs and there is a club right in the hotel. Oh my word - every night at 10pm the music started and went full blast until about 5am.... More

I went here to the on the last Sunday in September as they have a €2 all drinks all night deal. However about an hour after arriving I went to the bar and handed over fifty euros for 3 drinks only to receive back change of a twenty euros. When I pointed this out to the barman he insisted I was mistaken.I... Nightclub is mentioned but that the entire room is shaking is not imaginable but true! Though not watching TV, we thought of balancing the bass bumping but TV did not work and despite telling 3 times it never worked! Breakfast is horrible, too... they offer Full IRISH without beans and black pudding.... and WIFI only works at the foyer!

We stayed here for a concert which took place on a Friday night. As we had a few drinks ourselves we were not concerned about the loud music from the night club below. We made full use of the opening hours and the grill for food at 3.30am when the hunger was kicking in. The majority of the doormen were... More

When we arrived the corridor outside our room smelled very strongly of vomit, and it was downhill from there. While our room was cosy and comfortable, we were, drastically unprepared for the noise from the clubs downstairs. We booked through an independent booking site, bypassing the Russell Court’s own website which generously refers to the hotel as “lively”, and while... More

The hotel is built on and around the 3 loudest bars/clubs in Dublin! Booming music till 5am, 7 days a week, without even the decency of double glazed windows. We could barely get into the lobby because the bouncers were keeping people out of the club. The hotel doesn't care about it's paying guests, only about the clubs! When booking... More

I had previously read reviews of the hotel before arriving and even though they said noisy i was lead to believe it was manageable to sleep as the reviews were ok. The music was thumping loud from arrival at 5.30pm until 3.30am and got louder and louder. I was on the first floor, the furniture was actually vibrating, I could... More

Myself and 25 other of my friends and family stayed here recently for my hen do. We were greeted at check-in with the news that the water in the hotel would be off for long periods of time over the next three days, despite ringing the hotel the day before to confirm our booking, this 'minor' detail wasn't mentioned. We... More
