The Russell Court Hotel is just off St. Stephen's Green in Dublin city centre. The Georgian-style hotel has great nightlife and individually designed rooms with period furnishings and antiques. The hotel features some of the Dublin’s hottest nightlife. Dicey's Garden is extremely popular with visitors and locals. Russell Court Hotel hosts Krystle and Bojangles nightclubs. Krystle was winner of Best Nightclub in Ireland in 2007,2008 ,2009 ,and 2010.The Russell Court is a hotel for those who like to party with its bars and nightclubs open 7 days a week. Because of this all rooms can be affected by noise. We do not recommend the Russell Court Hotel for those looking "for peace and quiet ".

In April 2020 I actually wanted to visit Dublin but because of the pandemic my flights and the stay at Russel Court hotel had been canceled. During booking it had been stated that I would get the money payed back fully. But till now (nearly one year later) even after dozens of phone calls and mails I never heard any answer from the hotel nor received my money back! I believe the hotel would have been good but it is disappointing that the hotel is ignoring the guests right of receiving a cash refund in case of cancellation.

You will not sleep well, or at all, in this place. Only the most drunk and borderline comatose will be able to get any shuteye here. Thumping music in your room til 6am, where your bed literally vibrates. The noise of bottles being thrown in bins every 10 minutes by the rear windows. Not to mention dingy, horrible rooms. Absolute disgrace of a "hotel".

Myself and fiancée were due to stay in this hotel on the 12th July and never experienced such bad service in any hotel like this one.   Our friends decided to try and book a room on the day we were due to check in. They rang the reception and were advised it was closed. We then contacted the hotel and was answered by a rude receptionist who told us the hotel was closed for renovation and we needed to contact booking.com for any further queries and hung up the phone, bearing in mind we had just arrived in Dublin. I have since contacted the hotel asking for an explanation with no response. I am also still waiting on a refund almost a month later. Why were we not advised the hotel was closed in previous emails discussing options of the hotel bar etc? Why did you reception not care at all for their guests?   Thankfully we were helped by booking.com and stayed in the Gresham Hotel who’s staff cared for us despite at the time not having a reservation in the hotel at the time. We will never stay in this hotel and would highly recommend not staying here as they can’t even give a simple response to why they never contacted us.

This hotel has several nightclubs within it. It does state on its website that noise affects every room, but boy, you better believe it. The thumping music starts at 1600 and doesn’t abate until 0400 when the revellers are all waiting outside the hotel for cabs, screaming and shouting. But hey, this hotel provides ear plugs so all is good? Not. This hotel has a bouncer on the door from 1600, who challenges you every time you leave or enter the hotel. Make sure you take a pair of pliers, as this is the only way to adjust the radiators in your room. All knobs are broken off, and we regularly had to call the man with the pliers to adjust the radiators. This is not a joke. I can only think of one good thing to say about this place, and that is that sone of the girls on reception are really lovely. However to counter these, there are also a few jobsworth old dragons, so you really do take your chances. Cheap compared to other hotels in Dublin, but really, you will be far better off paying more and going elsewhere, trust me

There is a night club under this hotel that plays banging tunes until 5 am. If you like to sleep during the day however, it is lovely. It has well proportioned rooms, friendly staff and a nice breakfast. The floors are too shiny, so don't wear leather soled shoes and the lift is tiny, so don't go in it with a stranger. The rooms at the front are less noisy than the rooms at the back, but either way, you can hear every tune all night.
