Located in the heart of Dublin, The Trinity City Hotel garners praise for its prime location that makes sightseeing a breeze. While the elegant atmosphere and cleanliness stand out, earning commendations for the spotless conditions, guests are divided on room comfort, citing noise and temperature control as issues.

Detailed Reviews
We stayed only one night, but wished we could have stayed longer. I was apprehensive about going to a hotel during these unusual times but there was no need to be worried. Trinity City Hotel had every possible thing covered. Checking in was straight forward, with the area sectioned off & perspex screens at the reception desk. There are lots (& lots) of hand sanitizing stations located around the hotel. The staff serving in the restaurant & bar wore face masks & continually cleaned the surfaces. Breakfast was semi-buffet style with individual serving of juice, cereal, yogurt etc. Hot breakfast items were cooked to order, the pancakes are amazing!
The bedrooms were spotless & they even provided some sterilizing wipes in the room.
I hope people from outside Dublin see Dublin as brilliant staycation location and make Trinity City Hotel their first choice given it amazing situation right in the heart of the city.

Stayed at Trinity city on our annual Dublin weekend break, stayed in a deluxe room on top floor with the added bonus of a balcony and what a very special room it was. The staff in all parts of hotel are faultless and the breakfast was spot on . Location is perfect for walking anywhere in central dublin and we only used a taxi once when going back to airport . We had the inconsiderate our flight being cancelled at the last minute but the hotel let us keep our room at the same very favourable rate that we originally booked at . I will definitely be going back to Trinity city for our next trip to Dublin.

Stayed here last weekend, and having stayed in other hotels in the country in recent weeks I can honestly say this hotel is in a class of its own. The place was spotless, the staff were super and the rooms, beds and food were amazing. All precautions were taken to the highest standard and guidelines adhered to in order to make sure guests felt 100% comfortable and safe. The location is excellent to have a stroll around dublin, which we really enjoyed with kids and people are missing out on the oppertunity to explore our beautiful capital while its uncrowded. Everywhere we went followed all health guidelines and we felt 100% safe at all times. It's the first time since March this year that we came home from anywhere feeling relaxed and happy.i would highly recommend for a night away with kids or a break for a couple.

My husband and I along with our three children ages 8, 13 & 17 stayed in Trinity City Hotel, Dublin recently. Valet parking service is offered which was a wonderful start to our stay. We were greeted by a smile and warm welcome. The room was warm, inviting and spacious. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient and made us feel at ease with keeping social distance and wearing face coverings at all times. The receptionist gave us a really good guide for places to visit and sights to see. Following a long walk around the city we worked up an appetite and returned to Trinity City Hotel for dinner. We were met by a member of staff and seated, there was plenty of space between us and other customers in the restaurant. We had a magnificent dinner, best chicken wings ever. All our dinner plates went back empty, and the bottle of Don David, red went down a treat. Afterwards the children went up to the room to read while my husband and I sat in the outdoor garden area at the front of the Hotel and enjoyed a gin and tonic and watched the world go by. We booked breakfast for early the next morning as there was more of the city to see. Just before our Breakfast arrived, Joanne the General Manager came to our table and chatted to us, she was so nice, and although we couldn’t see her smile because of the face covering we could tell by her eyes. She left us all laughing as she went to greet the next couple entering the dining area. When the valet brought our car around after checking out I was sad we didn’t book a second night stay. It is a true Gem in the middle of a thriving city. I would rate the staff, food, location, price and ambience of Trinity City Hotel, Pearse Street, Dublin: 10/10
We shall be back, maybe next time for a romantic City Break.

The most flawless, clean and friendly hotel in Dublin. A hidden gem that I have only came across but so glad I did. On arrival the lobby is so beautiful, filled with amazing colours, furniture and friendly staff. The rooms we stayed in were deluxe double and balcony suite, both were literally amazing. The room and bathroom are both spotless clean and have everything you need. Included in the room is bath robes and slippers, all in plastic covering so you know they're brand new. We went with the Dine and Dream deal. It was incredible, everything was perfect and such good value for money. The food is delicious, we got a starter, main and desert. The service is so quick and easy going, the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, always checking that things were all good. No problems came about but if they had of, I know the staff would have assisted our needs straight away. The following morning we got breakfast to the room. It came so quickly, was still warm and everything we asked for was there. Upon checking out, again the staff were so kind and caring. They made sure everything was top quality for us and wished us a good day. Once again, I cannot fault the hotel and I truly feel like it is the best hotel in Dublin. It is situated right between shopping distracts like Grafton Street and Henry Street. The train and luas station is not even a 2 minute walk away and a bus stop right across the road. It is truly in the heart of Dublin and would recommend it to anyone and everyone. Thank you to the staff for our amazing stays both times, we cannot wait to stay again soon.

We got a room for three people, including breakfast, for €191.20 just as hotels began opening up again in Dublin. Having driven down from Belfast (after flying there from London), we avoided the quarantine restrictions we would have had if we had flown direct to Dublin from Heathrow..
Our room at the back overlooked an empty building site and Tara Street station. All the main sites are a few minutes' walk away.
We orderd tea in the lounge and had a great post-dinner (at Davy Byrnes - book it!) whiskey (Teeling) nightcap there too.
The €23 charge for valet parking was a bit steep - but it is hard to find street parking locally. Other tiny gripe was toast that was hardly toasted at breakfast. Obligingly they redid it!
Really nice and helpful staff. Great to see this place reopen. Wish them well!

This was the first time staying in the Trinity City Hotel, it was a hotel I'd never heard of but took the chance based on the location, price and the predominantly positive feedback on this site. I wasn't disappointed, from the moment we arrived with the valet parking, check in with courteous and helpful front desk staff we were delighted. The location is brilliant 5 - 10 minutes from Grafton and O'Connell street as well as the Bord Gais and Epic Museums being maybe a 10 - 15 minute walk. I went for a swim across the road in the Trinity College Sports complex, there isn't a deal between the hotel and the college so this is defiantly an opportunity to offer guests even a discount. The room we had 370 was one of the best we've ever stayed in for a family of 4, lovely décor and never heard a noise from outside or other rooms. Overall one of the best stays we've had particularly in Dublin. Bit of advice the price is cheaper on the hotel website than Booking.com.

Very close to the college where we needed to be so full marks for location
No car in this trip so can’t comment on parking.
Bar food was excellent and fast, great range of local Pot Still refreshments.. not the cheapest way to drink Midleton’s finest but it’s a shame not to try.
Clean and spacious rooms decorated in a classy traditional style and good value for money. Great service in all areas.
Highly recommended.

Stayed here for 2 nights with family and friends. The rooms are very stylish with neat fittings and a sense of glamour. The room was of a good size and had everything you needed, the bed was comfortable, there was a decent sized flat screen television, ironing board etc along with coffee and tea making facilities.
The breakfast was great with a wide range of choices including hot and cold foods and my wife who is gluten free was easily able to find foods she could eat.
The bus is conveniently located for exploring Dublin with Trinity and the Book of Kells around the corner, Grafton street in 10 mins walking of the Post Office 10 mins the other way whilst the Hop-on hop-off bus stopped outside!

Thanks for your query. Wow, it's very direct and to the point. I dont know, ls the answer I only stayed overnight. You could try the laundry on Aston Quay about 10 minutes walk from your hotel. Or if its small items; Penneys on nearby O Connell St sells shirts, jumpers and small items at very good prices. Probably cheaper than a laundry. I don't know if this is your first visit but despite all the changes of recent years, small acts of politeness are still practiced and appreciated eg thanking the bus driver or returning your glasses to the bar as you leave, especially if the pub is busy.
No, there is no refrigerator in the room, there is a safe, and a small kettle to boil water for coffee and tea.
We stayed in the courtyard area - not overlooking the courtyard but the city. We had no bother with noise. The only thing we noticed were drop sheets in doorways on the floor, presuming for painting. No big deal for us as we were out and about all day.
Yes there is secure parking, Hotel guests are priced at €23 per overnight stay from 2pm -2pm the following day.
You drive to the set down area outside the front of Hotel, One of their friendly concierge team will park it for you.
