Slightly dated but hood cheap accommodation. Staff were very friendly and help us with travel arrangements. It was nice to have a view of the sea from the room. Had tv, shower bed kettle with tea and coffee and toiletries so everything we could need. The area was nice and we walked to Blackrock from there which was a nice... More

This is a useful hotel for a working holiday, or for tourists about to set off on a tour of Ireland. Not luxurious, but comfortable and clean. The food too is reasonable and the pub is a pleasant place for friendly meetings.

Free parking is available here - and whilst this is on a main road i didnt find it too noisy - the rooms are spacious - and breakfast was good - the bar serves a small but tasty menu - and the staff were all friendly and helpful

Booking In girl was friendly, but it ended there. Got back to hotel after an event and had one drink and bar was closed, told bar man we were residents. He said no residents bar .When booking out man at reception never lifted his head, just mumbled something. We paid 300 euro for 4... never again.

On arrival the hotel looks quite dim from outside, pleasantly surprised by the reception and bar area. The beds are comfy and the rooms clean. It's is a little tired though and the sealant and tiling in the bathroom a little sloppy. The paint work could do with a brighten up too. The room was a good size and I... More

Last decorated in the 80s. Mouldy grouting , threadbare curtains, chipped furniture and stained marble in the bathroom. On a very noisy road with Dart train rattling by, which double glazing cannot protect you from. Very hard beds. Crap position; nothing interesting in walking distance. Incredibly noisy extractor in bathroom. Microscopic scratchy towels, cheap toiletries and plastic tooth glasses. Not... More

I nice wee jewel in the crown, if your going to stay in Dublin I would recommend this hotel, it's about 3 miles from city centre right on the sea front and pretty quiet location, the hotel itself is very clean and tidy, the staff very friendly and helpful, the rooms are large and comfy and if your lucky enough... The outside of the hotel brings you right back to east Berlin before the wall came down. Once you entered the hotel things improved,we had a carvery lunch which was very good and reasonable priced. The staff were very helpful and easy going. However when you get to your room be prepared to be transported back to the soviet era. The carpet... More

Booked for one night so could visit Dublin. Positives are that it is close to public transport - though receptionist said cheapest way to go was by bus but we walked to the Dart and got returns to the City for 5.10 ....... The hotel is very tired and old. First room we were given was dark, tatty and certainly... More
