I was backpacking through Dublin and found this hostel to be a great place to stay. The price wasn't bad and it had everything I could need. Staff was so helpful and friendly! Rooms and bathrooms were very clean and the location is wonderful!

I arrived in Dublin and went straight to Issacs. After a no-sleep red eye, I was slightly delirious, but their staff was very friendly. They let me store my bags and rebuild my bike in the covered, locked area across the street. The rooms are clean, as are the common areas.

Stayed with my 15 year old son, clean and friendly and suitable for all ages. Noise from trains and was there when it was very hot so athough windows open the whole time too hot to saty in rooms but it was so cheap I can let that go . We stayed the first night at the hotel next door... More

Purchased two airline express tickets from Isaacs hostel reception. When we got on the bus they didn't work and scanned up as being previously used by somebody else. The bus driver then made us buy more tickets. Pretty annoyed to be out of pocket from your mistake. The room was okay, pretty standard and the environment of the hostel was... More

Great location that's near the river and near the center of town, excellent food nearby. Friendly staff working the front desk, and secure luggage storage is awesome. The wifi was weak; doesn't reach past the commons area, so you're stuck down there for most of your stay. Showers had annoying buttons to keep them turned on.

Isaac's was a good, cheap option for staying in Dublin for a few days. The staff was very helpful, the location was great, and there were a lot of extra services available (like a walking tour, bar crawl, computer & printer, free access to power adapters, etc.). However, the bathrooms and the rooms weren't the cleanest, plus the hostel is... More

Just to over crowded. No proper ventilation. Window was open in dorm and we had to leave the door open as well to get some air in. Will i stay there again? Never. One thing i must say is that the staff were very friendly and their service was good

The atmosphere for breakfast is awesome The music, location, people...lovely! Close to the nicest bars, clean and secure. The staff is eager to help which definitely urges me to come back there if I have the chance to visit Dublin again.

It was impossible to sleep at night because of how hot it was in the room. I only managed to sleep for a couple of hours and was covered in sweat by the morning, and several people in our room complained and felt the same way. It is a shame because everything else about the hostel seemed great.
