Comfortable enough. As someone mentioned the pillows are thin but I experienced this throughout Europe so it isn't unique to this hostel. Staff was extremely helpful. I'm an early riser, so I was up when staff arrived to clean. And clean they did. The showers and bathrooms were clean, as were three rooms. There's a nice courtyard in the back... More

Was booked to stay here for 2 nights, only stayed one! Staff seemed friendly enough but the room was not great. Found old tissues on the floor and could hardly sleep for the dust. Woke up feeling worse than before I had slept. Didn't have a chance to try the breakfast.

Okay, first thing's first... it's cheap and not cheerful with the exception of the staff. Secondly, it's location is a non-issue. Dublin is a very walkable city. We didn't once have to use public transport - stop freaking out about the location! We had a 9 year old son and at no point did he feel that it was ever... More

It is a big hostel, enough air to breath. It is far from popular sites, so prepare to talk extra next to your regular walk thru the city. The wifi work only in the lobby....SOMETIMES. A part of the personal was polite, some were not. They have only ONE outlet in the room.

Booked into YHA for first night in Ireland. Vert poor. Kitchen was absolutely filthy. Hostel had unkept feel about it (Carpets, windows, everything dirty). WiFi didn't work. Staff on reception were OK, no sign of staff elsewhere in hostel (in evening bunch of drunken guys who were obviously using as long term accm made shared area unpleasant)

The hostel is in an old structure, so it looks not very cared of. The room we booked was at a very cheap price, so it offered no particular services. Bathroom was in common, and that was dirty and not very comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style, but it had not many things to choose. Location was also not very comfortable,... More

Surprised at the age range of the guest. Students to middle age. Staff appears knowledgeable and works to assist you. In or near town center. The size of the facility is remarkable as mentioned by others.

This is the biggest hostel I have ever stayed in. It is inside an old church, but doesn't have the character and charm of an old building. They provide a free breakfast of cereal and white bread with coffee. You can organize many activities and an airport shuttle through the front desk. The dorm room was large, however one of... More

Stayed here on Sat 18th June before embarking on a 4-Day Paddywagon Tour of South West Ireland. Found the location to be good, near Parnell Square not far from O'Connell St. There's a Spar & a chipper nearby too - bonus! Check in was no problem, I was sharing a dorm with 8 ladies & was given fresh linen for... More

Friendly staff, good rather quiet location near the center of Dublin, clean, a lot of middle-aged and older people as guests, good beds, bus-stops nearby, you can have your locket locked up. I will certainly visit again.
