Tram, bus and Dart trains are within two minute walk but a stroll into the city along the Liffey Quay is hard to beat if the weather is fine. A couple of minor hiccoughs on our visit were sorted without fuss by very pleasant FOH staff - all were exceptional. Housekeeping and dining are still limited by Covid but we were happy that precautions were/are being taken.Dear foyle3, Thank you for choosing the Beresford hotel during these uncertain times. If you know what you're expecting it's fine; the bed is pretty comfy and any room I've had is a good size. Hotel is a bit old and could probably use a renovation. But the rooms are always very clean and a decent size. Breakfast offers typical Irish breakfast with sausages, beans and scrambled eggs and also fresh fruit salad and all the regular stuff. Since it's an older building, rooms are not very well soundproof. We went down to the bar for a quick bite with my family, ended up having the best of times with Aldana and Kelvin, they took great care of us. The food was amazing as well. We we'll be back for sure :)

Location was fantastic, breakfast very good. Good bar area and food reasonably priced. Julian from reception was very professional, always on hand to help with booking tours, good advice on where to eat and helped us many times with directions to see Dublin’s attractions.

Food service was of good quality, breakfast and evening meal was affordable and well made. Lovely bar staff. Rooms very hot and outdated, cleanliness and maintenance needs attention. Not a nice area directly in front of hotel with addicts gathering in the square. For price I would find something more central and better value for money. Not the best way to see Dublin

ALL the hotel staff were wonderful in our experience. Everyone at the front desk went out of their way to see to everything we needed. The guys behind the bar was also very friendly and took good care of us. The Pub food was very good. Fresh and delicious. The lady taking care of our room was fantastic. Room was clean and tidy. Didn't eat in the breakfast restaurant yet, it looked nice. Very close to the River Liffey and great pubs and other restaurant's just down the street. Could get noisy outside late at night but that is expected in the heart of any big city in the world. Just a special reference to Robert also from the front desk. Robert really saw to our every need and made sure when we rebooked, that we got our old room again. Every question and every bit of info needed, Robert took his time to explain and shared all with a smile and genuine interest and kindness. Thanks Robert, you made our 1st Dublin experience and visit so much more enjoyable and memorable. Btw - Guinness also rocks !!! …

Nice stay at the beresford, the staff on reception and bar were lovely and helpful. Pleasantly surprised with the rooms they were nicer than seen on trip advisor and spacious, breakfast was buffet style with good choice and nice setting, good location as regular to Dublin I would stay again

The room is really comfortable! The price is really good for the area it is located! The staff are really kind and helpful!
