Dubliners know The Mercantile as a famous bar with screens that show sports, live jazz bands and a good night out in the city centre. They are surprised to hear that it is also a hotel, and our taxi driver from the airport seemed intrigued...More

Yes we are located in the ideal location if you are planning to visit popular sites in Dublin. We are across the road from the Central Bank and only a 2 minute walk from Trinity Collage and Grafton Street (Molly Malone Statue). We are also a short walk from Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin Castle, National Wax Museum, Dublin’s Science Gallery, Guinness Storehouse, St Patrick's Cathedral and many many more. If you are travelling by car we recommend Drury Street Car Park which is 2 minutes from the hotel.
