#31 of 256 Specialty lodging in Dublin
We offer twelve different one and two bedroom apartments that can comfortably accommodate anywhere from one to ten people. We have two locations: our main building at 50 Middle Abbey Street and our secondary building around the corner on Lower Liffey Street, Mellor Court. Our main building is an old Georgian house with six apartments and Mellor Court is a modern apartment building where we have a further four. Both of them are just across from The Ha'Penny Bridge and Temple Bar; in fact, the apartments in Mellor Court are located on the street leading to Temple Bar itself! When staying with us you can enjoy a nice stroll along the River Liffey and see the colourful sights. This ideal location in the heart of Dublin's city centre will provide you with an excellent base for discovering the city on foot. Our apartments generally feature large living rooms with one or two double sofa-beds and a 32" television with cable channels. The kitchens are fully equipped with a microwave, stove/hob, fridge and everything you need for preparing meals for your family and friends. The bedrooms includes double and/or single beds and a wardrobe with ample storage for your belongings. There are also bedside lockers for storage as well. In the bathrooms there are showers and/or baths, ideal for unwinding after a busy day out sightseeing. For your comfort and convenience there is gas central heating and free Wi-Fi internet access throughout the apartments. Whether you are travelling to Dublin for business or pleasure, our properties have everything you need for a successful trip. We are just over the bridge from Temple Bar, the entertainment hub of the city and are surrounded by a wide variety of pubs, bars and restaurants for nightly entertainment. I booked with this hotel through booking.com. We were a group of people wanting to travel to Dublin to see the city. We were due to being joining others there who were also planning on booking with this hotel. When I booked with booking.com it was no prepayment required and pay at the property. This suited me and my friends as we weren’t sure due to the pandemic if we were going to be able to travel, and also paying at the property suited us as we were planning on splitting the cost. Randomly, 5 days before I was due to travel, the hotel took two payments, which I can only assume were the full amount and also the damage deposit that would have been required when we got to the hotel. I can only assume this as I don’t have any confirmation from them as to what the payments were for. This totalled nearly £300. I checked and could not see why they had taken payment, and why they had taken two separate transactions. I contacted booking.com and raised this and they told me the hotel had breached policy and they would ask the hotel to give me a refund. They did this and gave the hotel 24 hours to respond. They didn’t. I sent them multiple messages as did booking.com and they did not once respond. I called them repeatedly and no one answered the phone. Booking.com told me they called them and a lady answered and when they started asking about this matter she said she couldn’t talk and hung up. I was not able to travel due to there being travel restrictions from the uk to Ireland. The hotel were fully aware of this yet took money from my card despite this and took it illegally. This hotel is a fraudulent company, and I would suggest unless you want money wiped from your card, you do not book with them. Disgusting customer service and absolutely appalling that they are making money from the covid 19 pandemic. As a key worker I have played my part in this, only to be ripped off and my hard earned money stolen from this hotel. To this day I have not had a response from them, or a refund. Disgusting.

Apartment stunk of weed Not enough pillows or mugs or cutlery Lady to give us code over phone was very rude and we were left waiting. I have left an item there and I was promised it to be sent to me but it hasn’t been and now I’m being ignored. Good location but that is about all it has going for it. We booked for 5 people and it said it could fit more- there were 4 of us and that was enough!

Apartment was a nice size, very clean and had everything we needed for a few days away. There is a small Tesco which is about a 5 min walk away and the Temple Bar area (lots of pubs) is around a 10 min walk.

Booked 2 apartments for a group of 10. When we got there we were told an apartment was trashed. 4 people ended up in the living room floor. 2sofa beds in Apartment 4 were broken. They didn’t even put enough crockery in the kitchen. Shower very mouldy. Such a shame as location is good

Ok, so i booked through booking.com before reading the reviews on here, when i checked i was gutted! however i am so glad i kept my booking. everything went smoothly, rajmonda is lovely and a great host. she walked us to our room (we had the apartment in temple bar) and she couldnt have been more helpful. ok the apartment could do with a lick of paint and the door could've done with fixing, but for a lads weekend away it was brilliant. would definitely stay here again.
