We paid €90 a night for a double room that was on third floor, bathroom was awful and bed far from any comfort. Very poor quality of accommodation especially considering the price. WiFi wasn't working in the room either though we were promised it would, only working downstairs. Staff were OK though, not all of them speak good English or... More

I was really really disappointed with my stay at this hostel. Initially my friends and I were placed in a basement room which smelt of body odour, lacked any furnishings/daylight and was not prepared. Despite having been able to check in several hours prior to arriving staff were still erecting a metal bunk bed in the middle of the room,... More

Four female travelers - wished we'd never stayed. The place has a decent location, only a few blocks from o'connell street where the air coach and hop on/hop off buses are. However, it's right next to the train and you will hear and feel it all night. Our room was recently renovated. Very clean and well done - except the... More

Most dirty and smelly place I have ever been in, no toilet roll dirty bed sheetsbi could write a list. The man at reception was pure ignorant as well I would have preferred to stay around the city all night and waited until the morning for the first bus

If you are looking for comfort, start looking elsewhere! The place is dusty and not the cleanest. We had a bathroom in our room; the tiles where coming off, the flush didn't work very well, but most of all we had some kind of small plant growing near the shower. It felt like camping indoor. However the guys at the... More

Worst experience ever. The owner said that it might be complicated to get us a room but it looked like there were no one staying there. Everybody looked very shady. The owner wasn't very nice and made it seem like he was doing us a favour. There were 3 of us and we got a room with a private bathroom.... More

18 Of us stayed at the citi backpackers in Dublin for one night the hostel is clean and the staff very friendly. Citi is bang in the middle of the city so is very handy for everything that you'd like to go and see in Dublin. We have already made plans to use the citi backpackers again in the future.

Staff were very friendly and nice to me during my stay, I can't fault their attitude but I have complaints about their upkeep of the hostel. I had to ask for toilet paper at reception practically every time because they do not go and replace them. They do not assign bed numbers so my stuff was thrown off my bed... More

I walked into the hostel where a man at the reception buzzed me in and asked me why I was here. I said I was staying at the hostel then he began to yell at me and said I was a liar. He began yelling "You never stayed here! You are lying! Where is your receipt". I told him I... More
