If you want a nice dining experience in the heart of Dublin overlooking St. Stephen's Green, then this is definitely the place to go . . . With a menu of predominantly fish we opted to start with a dozen Harty's Oysters between the four of us as they had an excellent offer on for August of half price. Fat,... More

Earlier this week I stayed at the Cliff Townhouse overnight on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. We had a lovely time. The room was very comfortable and charming. Both dinner(see restaurant review) and breakfast were very good. We stayed on the highest floor and despite my very poor levels of fitness I found the stairs fine and can only wonder... More

Just a one-night escape with my wife. The room was nicely appointed, with our wine waiting for us as requested. But it was cold - really cold - in the room and it took a long time to warm up. The bathroom was small and poky. The bed was luxurious and really comfortable. The dinner and the breakfast the next... More

Had a meal out in the Cliff House and I was very impressed by the food and the atmosphere. Have eaten here before but they definitely have improved in my opinion. Excellent choices on the menu. Had the crab and the steak and a cheese board. Wine was good value. Staff were helpful and attentive. Would definitely go back.

Dined here on a Sunday evening, booked by phone an hour previously, as opening hours are not mentioned anywhere on their website. When we arrived, the maître d'hôtel had no welcome for us at all, no smile just a look in his diary and ushered us to the dinning room and handed over to the waiting staff. These guys did... More

It is billed as fine dining. It is. This is a beautifully appointed restaurant in an excellent location. Quiet at lunchtime when we were there. I chose the Smoked Salmon starter with beetroot and horseradish: €11.95 and as mains the hake. Both were just fantastic! Mainly fish dishes on the menu but there are also steaks and lamb. The desserts... More

I've visited many places around St. Stephen's Green but this place is the best. The rooms are good, the location is awesome and the breakfast (and the service of the breakfast) is exceptional. The only problem is that they have a small number of rooms only and the place is always full... Well there is a reason for it.

This is a nice place but it is being painted at the moment. Also, Dublin is renovating its rail system. Construction everywhere. I recommend this hotel because of spacious rooms and nice staff but be prepared for many flights of stairs. If u r going on vacation, u may want to wait and visit until the rail work is finished.

This hotel is about the location, the staff, and the breakfast, in our experience. The location can't be beat - we walked everywhere, popped over to Grafton Street several times, walked through St. Stephen's Green in the evenings, and easily found our way around using this hotel as our home base. It felt safe and was very convenient. There's some... More
