As far as pubs go in the temple bar , we went into the Norseman and they have open mic singers, and in fairness they were very good. Pub has a good atmosphere and is reasonably priced and attracts both tourists and locals .

This was our first port of call, on a recommendation from the taxi driver who dropped us off at our hotel from the airport. It was a fairly quiet tuesday afternoon, only a couple of people in there. But the quality of the beer served was superb. When we returned the following evening it was standing room only with a...

We went here in the afternoon New Year's Eve, it was quite quiet and service was fast. We had steak and Guinness pie which was lovely. Reasonably priced food and drinks. Only think which I was annoyed at was the waitress saying "are you leaving me a tip", felt like I was in America!

Popped in for a drink after dinner, this was about 10:30ish on Sunday evening. Nice pint of Guinness and the bar man was friendly, chatty and happy to make recommendations about drinks. My only grip is that the toilets were disgusting and clearly been busy throughout the day. Guess that's what you get by going there at the end of...

Loved it here. Lots going on and really friendly staff. Would recommend highly. Nice atmosphere along with a great service. Great live acts too. Proper old-fashioned pub with what looked like great food.

Walked into the Norseman on a quiet Friday evening around six/seven o'clock, from the second in the door I adored the interior and felt an instant sense of warmth and welcome with a beautiful voice hollowing the pub! This was until I went up to order a drink, over a five minute wait when I was literally the only patron awaiting service....The...

This hotel has a small number of rooms and sits above the Norseman pub. Location was excellent and I was able to easily walk anywhere downtown. Being that it's situated above a pub AND in Temple Bar, the nights were a little noisy - but that's to be expected during the weekend. Very friendly staff.

I ate here twice on my trip to Dublin. Located in the Temple Bar area of Dublin City. Staff was really friendly. My first trip here was on Thanksgiving. I was out if the cohntry and away from the family and wanted some good food. I picked the right spot. I had a steak, served sizzling on a hot stone....

Just a good, clean, well provisioned, roomy and traditional pub with a great beer selection, plenty of music and great crowd. It's on a corner so there are great window views out onto this busy section of Temple Bar. We all had some basic pub food and loved it all. Have no hesitation about stopping in.

Large main room with a long bar. Everything was clean and tidy. Service was prompt and friendly and the beer well kept. Plenty of wood panelling and a good bar top. Really great view of the Temple Bar area from the large windows. A pleasant place to stop for a drink and something to eat
