Spent two nights here as part of a bus tour of Ireland. Wonderful experience! Spacious room, spa quality bathrooms. Even though our dinner menu was a tour package offering, the options were outstanding. Breakfast buffet was plentiful & varied. Bar prices were a little high, but it was a five star property in all aspects.

Amazing!!! The grounds are beautiful with flowers, formal gardens, lake side glades and whimsical sculptures. The staff is wonderful and they cannot do enough for you. It is just wonderful! From the front door to the chef at breakfast they are genuine, polite and respectful. I cannot say enough nice things.

I ate a nice hamburger made from Irish beef with rucola and tomatos and drinking aside a donegal blonde. Nice servants who alsways keep an eye on their customers. Restaurant seens new renovated and the whole hotel is presented as an old castle very authentic.

From the time you get to the front entrance you know you have arrived some place special. The hotel and its beautiful grounds are well maintained. Absolutely everyone is friendly and welcoming. My husband and I stayed here and really enjoyed it. The grounds and surrounding area were beautiful. The rooms were very nice, we had double doors leading out to the courtyard which was a nice touch. We had a long day of driving, and upon our arrival we were informed that we had to wait for the concierge to take us to our room. We sat and stood by the front desk for over 30 minutes, to be lead to a building not attached to the hotel. This was the 'highest' priced castle on our Ireland... More

Upon arriving, we were disappointed with the state of the driveway, which had countless potholes to contend with on its entire length. My girlfriend thought the grounds were beautiful. We ordered a bar meal, which, in my opinion, was overpriced for what we got. My fish and chips arrived with excess grease on the plate. The triple cooked chips were... More

Accommodations and facility. Notes: plenty of families and small children. The spa is OK, there are much better guest facilities at other hotels. The steamroom is a little weak with broken tiles and harsh steam. The pool is medium sized with no warm/hot area. Two overhead water jets and bubbles at one end is weak. There is a sign stating...
