Lovely location above the town, relatively easy to find. The B & B is on a working farm, so it is secluded, though not isolated. Easy access to the town. The hostess was a mine of information about restaurants, sights and tourist attractions. The room was well-furnished and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. A nice place to take a...

As Dublin continues as the commercial hub of Ireland, Donegal offers you the true taste of Irish life and the relaxing, unpretentious experience. Proudly of full Irish descent and with dual citizenship, I feel that Donegal is the culture and life of Ireland you read of. It is part of the country I had not visited. On a cool afternoon,...

A lovely quiet setting and the Irish hospitality flourishes. Sarah, could not do enough for us in any respects. She was always cheerful and very helpful. A delicious breakfast and presented very professionally. The huge fresh fruit salad each day was a real treat. The common area complete with cozy fire was a perfect area for us and our friends...

Spent 2 wonderful nights here whilst touring Eire with friends. We were given the warmest welcome and made to feel at home by the hosts and the wonderful Sarah, who was exceptional. The rooms anew large and comfy, breakfast the best we had experienced on our trip and the common room was made available to us to eat in, bringing...

I can't say enough about the kindness of a Theresa and Albert. We arrived much later than expected, around 10pm... we tried communicating via email and phone calls didn't work, but Theresa had been very busy that day... upon arrival we found Albert had stayed up just for us as he does not check the email. He's such a good...

What a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, everyone was so helpful, from the staff to the taxi service. The breakfast was exceptional and the location was just perfect, out in the countryside but just a 12 minute walk from Donegal town. We look forward to our next visit, Donegal is definitely my new home from Home!!

In addition to what my wife Kathleen already mentioned in the prior review. The owner of Ard na Breatha served us breakfast every day and gave us great ideas about where to travel. Theresa even called her doctor and set up an appointment for Kathleen the same day. When I reminisce about my trip to Ireland, i will always think...

My sister and I and our husbands made the unusual choice of staying at one Bed and Breakfast in Ireland, and traveled out each day to hike and sitesee, rather than checking in and out of accommodations each day. Dear Kathleen, Thank you so very much for posting such a lovely review. I really enjoyed meeting you all and having a bit of banter from time to time.
