We were a party of 25 and only booked the day before as we were there for a family funeral. Excellent food and menu. I had fillet steak on a stone, others in the family had tuna on a stone, linguini and other food, we were not expecting the extra chips, mash and vegetables and the food was excellent. Most...

Stayed at this very friendly hotel for four nights this month, with a coach tour with GB Tours. I was impressed with this hotel from the start, we arrived fairly late at this hotel at 10.00 pm, and a very good dinner was awaiting us, and was well served. I have been to many hotels arriving late for dinner and...

Lovely hotel with the best staff ever. Nice large room overlooking the square. Food was good everything well organised. Abbey guests can use the swimming pool next door. Great bar just round the corner with live music called the Reel Inn. Will most definetly return.

Stayed here with a friend for a pre-christmas treat. Staff at check in were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and had a lovely view of the water. Ate in the restaurant which was quality and enjoyed the entertainment in the bar that night. Will definitely be back again.

Just returned from Abbey Hotel, stayed overnight. Had read some of the reviews before we went, bit of a mixed bag. We enjoyed our stay. Checked in efficiently, bedroom was fine, breakfast had basic choices but all good. Good atmosphere in the hotel & busy, there was live music in the Bar and Jimmy Buckley in a private suite. Plenty...

Booked this hotel for €99 B&B. Room was dated but clean. Issue was upon returning to our room we could hear the nightclub ongoing. Not just the thud of music but the screams and shouts of excited revellers. I think there was a smoking area close by. After a disturbed nights sleep we went for breakfast. Breakfast was mediocre. We were in having a fee drinks I was the driver waiting inside on my parents and was asked to leave if I had no business there by some manager who I thought was disrespectful and had no mannerism so my thought will be no more vists to this horrible place the management is a show on such wonderful food.
