There’s nowhere in the world that does hospitality quite like Ireland, and there’s nowhere in Ireland that does hospitality quite like Harvey’s Point We regularly travel from the neighbouring county of Fermanagh to Harvey’s Point for Sunday lunches, weddings, family occasions and meetings. So where better for my parents to celebrate fifty nine years of marriage. From the minute my parents stepped out of their car, they were treated like royalty. Every member of staff was more helpful and more charming than the one before Bags were carried, doors were opened, seats were pulled out and pushed in, napkins unfolded and nothing was too much trouble The staff were incredible, the room was gleaming and luxurious, the food was first class, the pianist, the open fire, the welcome, the attention to detail Congratulations to Noel Cunningham and his staff. Genuine 5 star Irish hospitality is alive and well and it’s name is Harvey’s Point

Up for a weekend visit with friends and to do some walking. Superb surroundings and beautiful views of the Lough. 3 hour drive from Dublin. Warm and friendly welcome from all the staff throughout the stay. Rooms were fantastic - spacious with luxurious bathroom and walk in wardrobe space. Nice touches on arrival with fresh fruit in the room. Lunch in the bar/terrace area and evening drinks. Dined in the restaurant Sat night - excellent fare and a full restaurant. Visited beautiful Murvagh beach - highly recommended. Did the big Lough Eske walk on Saturday - plan for 3 hours+ depending on the route. Visited Donegal town - taxis service available - suggest booking them in advance sand they will also collect when ready. Highly recommend a visit to this wonderful location - complete chill out. Note no pool/spa or gym but that will not stop any relaxing.

We have been to Harvey's Point several times but brought first time friends with us this time. The whole stay was glorious. This was our first time since the new ownership and the whole experience was wonderful. The transition has been seamless and we will return soon

The scent of turf smoke mingling with the mist coming off the lake set the scene for a relaxing overnight stay. Even the basic rooms are like a suite: comfortable chaise long, sofa and arm chairs, king size bed and enormous bathroom. Dinner was good ( although not as outstanding as on previous visits) but any shortfalls were compensated for by the excellent breakfast. Staff are wonderfully helpful and Covid restrictions and safety are obvious.

I have just returned from a painting break at Harvey's Point hotel today. I am writing this review primarily to thank the staff for their exceptional customer service. My first morning there I woke with a sore throat and cough and rang down to inform the front desk. Without hesitation i was driven to a HSE testing centre by the general manager who assured me that they would take care of me, which they did. While waiting the results all my meals were sent to the room along with other snacks and drinks. I never for one minute felt like a nuisance. The hotel itself is beautiful overlooking the magnificent Lough Eske. The rooms are enormous and immaculately maintained. The food is absolutely top class, everything is of a high standard of quality. I would personally like to thank Niall and Anne Marie who both looked after me. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and i do not understand why it is not 5 star. Everyone makes you feel as if you are a part of a big family, An absolute gem.
