We visited Harvey’s Point back in December. We were blown away by how friendly and helpful the staff were, and the hotel was also spotlessly clean with amazing decor. The atmosphere was warm, friendly and inviting. We had bar food overlooking the lake, the steak ciabatta was to die for! The flavours were amazing and the steak was cooked to perfection. We decided to treat ourselves to coffee & dessert, and these did not disappoint either. Looking forward to returning after lockdown to enjoy a Harvey’s Point Sunday carvery / buffet.🥰 Definitely worth a visit when in Donegal!

On the 23rd December my family and I set off early for Belfast International airport to fly to Tenerife for the Christmas period only to be told by an arrogant EasyJet staff member, “You’ll be going nowhere”! Straight to my 3 young boys faces who were very excited and looking forward to their flight. We were determined not to let this spoil Christmas and started calling a few hotels to try to get booked in for the Christmas period, not expecting to have much luck we contacted Harvey’s Point and to our surprise they told us they could fit us in. We swapped over our clothes and drove to the hotel. What can I say? The place was idyllic and a breathe of fresh air. We were welcomed with mulled wine and set by the open fire at the reception while our bags were loaded onto a trolly and while we waited to be checked in. We were taken to our room which was massive and we settled in. This was the start of what turned out to be 4 days of some of the best customer service we have ever experienced. At the risk of writing what could potentially be a very long review, I’ll just say that sometimes it’s the little touches that come from experience within this industry that shine through and believe me they shone! For instance, we went on a guided walk with the manger through the forest which took a few hours and when we got back to the hotel we were soaked, so we went to the room to get changed and the hotel sent hot chocolate up for the kids and mulled for for us to the room without being asked. This was a fantastic touch which leaves you feeling like you were the only guests at the hotel. Our stay was filling with these little subtle touches which is testimony to all the staff at the hotel. So with that in mind I want to thank wholeheartedly each and every member of staff who made our Christmas. You’ve had a lasting effect on my family and left us with memories that’ll last a lifetime. Wishing all the staff a Happy New Year. We look forward to seeing you all again. Darren A. Stewart

It had been a few years since we visited the Hotel, the attention to detail and first class staff are equally as good, nothing is too much trouble. Due to the covid situation we were not sure what to expect, we need not have worried as everything was so well organised thus allowing us to relax and enjoy our stay. would we go again? Most definitely.

My husband and I have been fortunate enough to stay at Harvey's Point on several occasions in all seasons. Each time we come away with the same feeling of being totally rejuvenated! Without fail, on every single occasion, the rooms are immaculate and the epitome of decadence and luxury. The little touches in the rooms of home baking, classical music in the bathroom and perfect service are unmatched. The culture of the hotel, whilst top class and of the highest caliber, shows no element of stuffiness, rather it exudes homeliness, friendliness with a healthy dose of good craic and banter, while still retaining complete professionalism, every single member of staff playing their part to perfection. The entertainment, wine tasting, cookery demonstrations, surrounding nature and walks are second to none. As for the food, I would advise any guest to pack looser fitter clothes for check out! Every meal, whether casual or formal is unrivaled. Our most recent trip to Harvey's on 22nd December was particularly welcome at the end of a long stressful term at work. Walking in the door, there was a feeling of instant relaxation. In the midst of a pandemic, no stone was left unturned to ensure we felt completely safe and able to socially distance in comfort. A fantastic start to the Christmas holidays - as frequent travellers - Harvey's Point remains our firm Number 1. We are beyond blessed to have such luxury on our doorstep here in Donegal - I could not recommend it highly enough!

Santa certainly came and gave us a perfect stay! A well appointed bedroom suite, immaculately presented with the food and standard of beverages that was only bettered by the exceptional service. Niall, Noel, Eamonn and the team certainly made sure all our needs were met with the violin recital by Vladimir a particular highlight.
