Thank you for a wonderful stay for my sister’s wedding…most especially for being so kind when my mum was taken suddenly ill, for your attention to my six year old daughter’s food (she has multiple food allergies), the wonderful vegan food and the patience of your front of house staff when we needed to keep returning to the honeymoon suite for various items. A five star experience so very much appreciated. Thanks again!
Harvey's Point was the perfect location for a romantic escape for my wife and I. The hotel is close enough to Donegal to experience the shopping and restaurants while still nestled into the countryside. The food in the on site restaurant was excellent as was the service and attitude of all of the service staff. If we are ever back in Donegal, we will definitely visit the Harvey's Point again.
Superb hotel, excellent service, beautiful room, friendly atmosphere. Limited expensive menu options however food was excellent. Limited larger options in the bar, beer was served very flat this I reckon was due to residual cleaning chemicals on the glasses. Shame as it ruined the social aspect in the bar.
Lovely hotel in a beautiful location, room was fabulous, staff were all pleasant, polite and courteous and food was nice. Also the piano playing in the bar was superb. We were a little disappointed that our room was facing the car park rather than the lake, but when we booked the hotel seven weeks previously we requested a table by the window for dinner in order to savour the lovely view of Loch Eske. However when we arrived at the dining area at the appointed time we were told we could have any table we wanted EXCEPT a table by the window. There were four vacant window tables at that time and one remained vacant throughout our meal. A small disappointment in an otherwise lovely stay.
My husband and I have stayed in many hotels in Ireland and further afield but Harvey’s Point has topped them all. You feel cared for the minute you walk through the door and that care and attention to detail continues throughout your stay. The suite we stayed in was the height of luxury and the food was excellent. The highlight of our visit was a guided walk with Noel, which was most enjoyable and entertaining from beginning to end. This was our first visit but it certainly will not be our last!
First time in this beautiful Hotel but wont be our last! Spent 2 nights - room was amazing - food delicious and staff were outstanding - we were met by Eilis who remembered my name throughout our stay (nice touch with so many visitors coming and going!) Noel's guided tour was excellent and he is so charming and efficient - fell in love with him! Klaudia was so friendly and nothing was a problem to her - loved the way all staff get involved from greeting to serving and making sure all guests needs are looked after. Eamonn put on a super Echoes of Ireland show on Wednesday evening. We have travelled to a number of beautiful Hotels in Ireland but this one is now by far my number 1 - cant wait to go back - I am planning it already. Thank you so much Harveys Point for all the extra touches.…
Amazing as always, one third visit to the hotel and our first with our young children. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The welcome you get when you go to this hotel is amazing every time. Nothing is too much effort. This time we did the cookery demo which was really nice. The room was amazing and as they are so large the kids had there own space and we weren’t on top of each other. The food is gorgeous and any tweaks are no hassle. Efficient and homely.
Just returned from another wonderful holiday in Harvey's Point from start to finish staff were impeccable friendly and extremely professional they make you feel really at home looking forward to returning next year
Had a wonderful stay with my wife 27/28 July Harvey's Point. I could not fault anything with the hotel. The room was amazing and he food was fantastic. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I would also like to thank Eamonn the guest relations manager for putting on a wonderful evening of entertainment. The show was called Echoes Of Ireland. My wife and I will definitely be back
In a magical setting beside Lough Eske, we were captivated from the start. Gorgeous food, artistically presented, with a room that really had the wow factor! So many nice touches & thoughtfulness. The staff were genuine & friendly and we loved learning about the hotel history & the amazing legacy of the Gysling Family. We hope to get back some time - it truly was a little slice of heaven.
