I stayed at these cottages about six years ago which was why we booked them again. It was just as enjoyable this time round. The cottages are situated in an ideal spot, just five minutes by car and you are in Donegal Town. The cottages themselves are spotless, very comfortable and one of the best features is the open fire.... More

Stayed here last summer. Accomodation very basic outdated decor but clean. Not an ideal or safe place for young children as you had to watch out for the cars going past the front of your house to the other cottages beside you. No enclosed garden and back patio garden ridiculously small. Not much privacy either from owner as she always... More

She called around a few nights during the week we stayed to say hi and bring us some dvds to watch of her own initiative. We had two small dogs with us... More

We stayed here as a family of 4 over the Easter break. Malachi and Goreti were so welcoming to their cottage. The cottages are very simple and authentic, easy to keep clean and have open turf fires! Although the decor may be a little dated, this just adds to the charm of the place. There is a tennis court and... More

We have stayed at the Donegal Estuary Holiday Homes for the past 14 years on an annual basis. We have always received a very warm welcome an excellent hospitality from Goretti and Malachy (the owners). The houses are first rate, and the scenery is second to none. The owners are always happy to give information for excursions. It is our... More
