Superb guesthouse close to the centre of Cork; a beautifully appointed and comfortable bedroom and lovely Irish breakfast. Brendan was a very friendly and helpful host…. we would thoroughly recommend this guesthouse.
We were there 5 days and Brandon and Patricia made us feel like home. We will definately come back. Room quality and service 100 % Perfect location, delicious breakfast and fantastic hosts. Thank you so much, Adelaida & Domenico and children🥰
Staying at The Audley House was a real highlight of our trip to Cork. Brendan, the proprietor greeted us and looked after all of our needs, questions and requests, never forgetting a detail. He was so friendly and caring during our stay and his hospitality made our trip extremely relaxing and enjoyable. The house itself was a spectacular Victorian experience.
B&B's are not hotels. Hotels have their purpose for travel. B&B's are different in that you get to know the actual Owners. Such is the case at the Audley House in Cork, Ireland. My family and I had the privilege to stay there this month during our trip to Ireland, and we were so thankful we did. Owners Brenden and Patricia, the husband and wife team, made our stay so pleasant. Each morning we were met with a fitting hearty breakfast, cooked to order. The Owners were so helpful when it came to adjusting our reservations plans, recommending local touring, local transportation, or even a pleasant conversation late at night at the end of tiring day of sightseeing. Our rooms were tastefully decorate, always immaculate, and most importantly, comfortable and accommodating. I highly recommend this B&B.…
Stayed for four nights at Audley House, as a single person in a double room. The room was comfortable and clean with enough places to store things etc. Sufficient choice at breakfast with self service cold options and also cooked breakfast on request. Brendan was very helpful in accommodating some late changes to travel plans, and also getting a taxi booked at the end of the stay.
The accommodation was of a high standard and very convenient for the centre of Cork. Car parking on site. The breakfast enabled me to last the day! The owners were able to book us with a guest house in Killarney our next stop. We were recommended good restaurants to go to and the one we used was excellent. We had left two coats when we left, thankfully they knew where we were going and offered to send them back home. We chose to return at the end of our break to pick them up. No problems for the owners.
Audley House is the perfect location for a visit to Cork City. It's a short stroll from the centre with the walk bringing you through a lovely part of the City. Audley House itself is beautifully appointed. Clean and welcoming it is a great spot. The host, Brendan, is a gentleman. The room was lovely as was the breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend.
Great welcome and friendly service. Top class location. Let's just fill in 200 characters coz TripAdvisor demands it. You'll enjoy the banter in this place. Brendan was great craic. Breakfast was very nice. Room was really comfortable and quiet
My husband and I had an absolutely lovely stay at the Audley House and will definitely be back! The house is beautiful and the room was extremely comfortable! Brendan and Patricia are so friendly and welcoming and breakfast was great. The location is ideal for walking and parking is easy right in the driveway.
The truth is a bit disappointing, the owners are friendly, but the house is too old and not updated. from the beginning the prices change, a little... according to how you pay (I understand), the room is clean but nothing worked in the bathroom,.. the shower water worked 5 min, the toilet did not work at all, you could not pull the chain,.. another problem is noise. absolutely everything is heard, ALL! several times in the night I woke up, because others arrived, people, because they showered, they talked. and breakfast, I went down in the morning and it was full, I waited 15 min and went back down and the dining room was already picked up even knowing that I was waiting for breakfast. while I was leaving they offered me fruit, apple... No thanks! rooms must be updated and muted, for the price there is a better place right next to the blarney stone…
