We stayed here in November for our anniversary and it was just so beautiful. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was brilliant, we were fighting over who got the giant mushroom and the kitchen brought us another to keep the peace! Our room was lovely, the bed was so big and so comfortable. We added breakfast on at the last minute and easily spent an hour tasting things, followed by a long walk throughout the stunning garden. It was an amazing stay, our only regret was just doing the one night. We’re going back and staying again next week for my birthday and we’re really looking forward to it. This time we’re splashing out on the afternoon tea to make the day even longer!

I simply couldn’t stay another night without complimenting your Hotel on it great Staff. I arrived as usual teatime ish & while checking in advised the receptionist that my daughter was staying with me unexpectedly (mid term school break). No problem to change double bed to two singles whatsoever was advised to me. Then we had food in the bar & it was very busy with no table booked by us. Showed to a table. Waiter took our order & complimentary bread dropped to our table while we waited for our food to arrive. Food arrived & enjoyed thoroughly so my daughter ordered desert but I was good. Waiter set table again with cutlery for me too in case I wanted to share, then he brought down a small serving for me. I had to work early the next morning so I went down to reception with my laptop so I wouldn’t wake my daughter just after 5.00 am, once again I was noticed by a Susanne Dempsey who asked if I wanted tea or coffee & it was exactly what was needed at that crazy early start to anyone’s day. Unfortunately I didn’t get the young waiter name the previous night but he was late teens or early twenty’s I think. The while point of this correspondence is to compliment your Hotel on its wonderful kind staff, this has been experienced by me since starting to stay with you since 2016. My wife likes the good life like myself but keep saying a few nights down in your hotel she would love, young kids, work, etc. prevent this from being sorted but it will be sorted shortly. Stayed here in early March for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay (1 double and 1 single) Rooms great with comfy beds and superb views of Cork City Bar and restaurant are incorporated with a fantastic terrace overlooking the city which has a beautiful night view. We ate in Panorama Bistro both nights and food was simply delicious We had 2 treatments in the Hotel SPA and would highly recommend it for a place to relax and unwind. Cannot end the review without a mention of the staff who were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us especially Vourneen at the front desk. Highly recommended and looking forward to our next visit

Wow what an experience from the moment you arrive the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is something else. It is truly something different from decor to offerings. The staff are professional but open so there is no stuffiness, the gardens are beautiful and the cinema is amazing - had a cocktail or two! Will definitely be back hopefully the current situation passes sooner rather then later.
