Recently came to Cork for the wonderful Prodijig show at the Opera House and stayed with Avril and Tony. Truly wonderful hosts, friendly, funny and really couldn't do enough for us. Scones to die for and gorgeous breakfasts. Very comfortable room and spotless....we really couldn't have asked for a better place to stay....lovely walk into town and nice quiet street.... More

This is a fantastic B&B with the most helpful owners who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable and easy! The location is great- in a quiet beautiful street only 10 minutes walk from the city centre. Breakfast is great and the rooms are beautiful and have fabulous facilities!

We would not have seen Ireland as we saw it without the advice and support of our fabulous hosts. Knowledgeable and friendly and very willing to share experiences and ideas to make our first trip (definitely not our last) to this fabulous place really special. Cork is just a 15 minute walk away and the lovely university is right round... More

Tony might be the nicest, friendliest person in the world. We were a group of seven adults in our late thirties. Our priorities are location (since we did not rent a car) and cleanliness. This place was great. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in while traveling. Breakfast was delicious and it was an easy... More

Avril and Tony are very friendly and welcoming. They have 2 houses run as B&B. After met Avril at the main house she walked us to the second house which just 4 houses away. Both houses are clean, tidy and homey. Our room is perfect for us! Very comfortable bed, strong shower, and the window is facing beautiful back garden.... More

My wife and I and two family friends spent 10 days on a road trip in Ireland and stayed in several wonderful B&Bs. Fernroyd, however, was the crème de la crème of the Irish B&B crop. In fact, we have stayed at dozens of B&Bs over the years and Fernroyd was probably our best B&B experience ever! Highly recommend!! A... More

Tidy home 10 mins from town centre. Tony and Avril were great hosts. Take there advice for where to eat and where to grab a beer. They were bang on. Breakfast was great especially the home made scones. Definitely worthy of their ratings and a great place to stop in for the night.

A great location & very safe & comfortable rooms. Your host Tony is brilliant. Willing to help you with any questions of Cork, along with great recommendations on what to do, where to eat etc. The Wi-Fi is the best strength, & speed I have experienced in Ireland. With a great cooked breakfast included, this B&B is very hard to... More

Easy to find ten minute walk from city centre. Warm welcome. Clean room. Host provided a wealth of information on the city and his recommendations on places to eat and drink were spot on. Breakfast was excellent . Good value.

I just realized I never reviewed this visit from May. This B&B is a wonderful place to stay in Cork. Charming and welcoming! We had a 1st floor room across from the dining room. It was spacious and clean. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. The location is within walking distance to the market place and restaurants. The best... More
