My husband and I stayed for only one night in Cork enroute to Galway and had only booked Gabriel House two days earlier. The drive into the fully tarmaced carpark is quite steep and the property is below street level but the welcome we received at Reception was very warm. Our room was a reasonable size with a very comfortable...

Everything I've ever wanted in a B&B, clean, crisp, fresh, in a great location, with a great view! Kathleen, the Manager does an outstanding job!. We stumbled onto this B&B by pure accident (lost) and it was a GREAT find. The first morning of our two night stay, I came down into the breakfast area looking for a cup of...

The house is set back from the road so there isn't much traffic noise and that helps for a restful night. Language can be a barrier for some guests so I'm glad my linguistic abilities added to your enjoyment of Gabriel House

My daughter and I spent 2 beautiful days in Cork in August at this B&B. First class accommodation and hospitality from Kathleen and Valerie. Food was excellent and views from our lovely room overlooking the city were perfect. Ron from Canada

We received a warm welcome at the beginning of our two night stay, and this continued throughout. The room was clean, reasonably large and the bathroom excellent. No wardrobe, just a hanging rail, but this was fine for our short stay. We could have done with a small table or even just a shelf to put our things on, so...

Delightfull B&B. GREAT breakfast!! All staff & management were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Nice back yard complete with garden and henhouse. My little grandson (age 19 mos) was delighted by it. Very family friendly. Lots of help with directions, suggestions for restaurants, pubs, shopping & sight-seeing. An excellent value. We would definitely book again if visiting Cork.

We were welcomed warmly by Kate at the front desk. She was of great assistance with places to eat, where to visit, etc. Our room was sufficient for my husband and I but it seemed a little dusty in the corners next to the bed. We were on the bottom floor of the guesthouse so it was great to walk...

We were made very welcome and given a ground floor room, us being 'oldies'. Breakfast was great as was the room itself. There was also off street parking for our vehicle. In all a most enjoyable stay. Signed - Allan PS - Australia

We were walking from the bus station with our backpacks to get to Gabriel House, so the fact that it was at the top of a hill made us tired. It had been a long day so we were glad to get there and be greated by the friendly staff. The good aspects were the 4 single beds in the...
