First impressions were excellent with the pleasant receptionist made me feel very welcomed had all the qualities we like to think Ireland can provide. I think her name was April. She is to be treasured. My room was fine, very clean indeed and quiet. My meal was fine and the staff serving me were attentive and kind. I will always use this hotel when I need to stay in Cork

Wonderful experience: comfortable room, excellent staff and the best breakfast! If I had to classify our stay in 3 words: cosy, comfortable and warming. Thank you so much to Majella and all the staff we met during our stay! We could not have asked for a better place to stay in Cork!

We were checked in by Laura which was a great start as she was both friendly and helpful. Car park very handy underneath the hotel for €12 overnight when stamped at reception. Hotel is in a great location and near some of the city's best restaurants. Dined one night in the restaurant but food was a big let down. Breakfast was perfect each morning. Overall hotel is very business like and covid regulations adhered to so really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Fantastic Hotel & Fantastic Staff, My Parents Are Just Home From A 2 Night Getaway Break For Their 42nd Anniversary. Upon Making The Booking I Had Mentioned That It was Their Anniversary & The Very Attentive Tara Left A Lovely Card & Box of Chocolates In Their Room, This Little Gesture Was So Thoughtful & Very Much Appreciated. Hotel Is Absolutely Stunning , Should Definitely Be Ranked 5Star, Exceptionally Clean , Spacious Rooms, All Staff Were So Friendly, Beautiful Spa With A Great Selection of Treatments at a very reasonable price( If It is Fully Booked Online , Definitely Call Spa Directly As I was Lucky To Get 2 Cancellation Appointments). Hotel Has Secure Underground Parking & The Lift In The Hotel Brings You Directly To It. Location of The Hotel Is Ideal , 3 Minutes Of A Beautiful Walk Brings You Straight Into The Centre , Beautiful Shops & Talented Musicians On Every Corner Created A Fantastic Atmosphere , Lovely Restaurants & Great Selection Of Bars. View From The Hotel is Stunning , Overlooking The Water & Their Is A Beautiful Boardwalk Outside Hotel If You Fancy A Walk. Given The Current Covid Pandemic , Hotel Was Perfect, All Guidelines Were Being Adhered To 100% But Staff & Management Created Such A Friendly Atmosphere That It Didnt Take From The Experience.

I took my wife here for our wedding anniversary to enjoy the wonders of Cork city. The trip down from Wicklow was with ease as the Motorway is almost door to door. We arrived with the sun welcoming us to Cork but this wasn’t as impressive as to the greeting we got when we arrived. Kate on the reception desk welcomed us with warmth and a beaming smile. She set the scene for what was to be a wonderful stay. Our room was impeccable, clean, fresh and an exceptionally comfortable bed. Attention to detail was obvious and welcomed. Wonderful shower. Alway a plus to any room. The hotel is at the heart of the city with a short stroll over the bridge to the city centre, allowing us to leave our car and travel by foot to soak up the ambiance of the city. With COVID-19 restriction in the restaurant at play, we didn’t precook so dined elsewhere, which was a pity as the menu was extensive. Next time for sure. We were fortunate to meet Kate again on our checkout and can see why she fronts the customer experience, an asset to the hotel. Overall, we found the hotel to be very well managed and the coordination in place by management around COVID-19 was commendable. In closing I couldn’t understand why this hotel did not appear on the top of Trip Advisers list as with a lot of travel under my belt, this has to be my new favorite.
