We had a very enjoyable stay in a comfortable room. Lovely breakfasts also in the bright dining room. This is a sprawling house that still retains a sense of history. It is also extremely convenient in terms of access to both Dublin and the surrounding area.

What can I say , I stay here regularly, possibly 3 times a month and I love it. The staff are always friendly and I am always allocated a nice room. Having stayed so often I think I have spent a night in them all ! And can not complain about any , the breakfast is tremendous and cooked to... More

The Lodge is a mile or so out of town on a busy main road and near a flyover but that does not detract from it's convenience or friendliness. There is a lot of parking on site and a garden etc. The accommodation is in an extended house so the rooms vary but we were happy with ours which had... More

Booked this for a short stay in Cork City. We were very pleased with the no nonsense check in and very friendly service from the owners and staff. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice and freshly cooked, real home cooking style. Rooms were clean and serviced ,tv worked well as did shower nice view out over garden and best... More

I would not recommend this accommodation. It was absolutely not clean! There was dust and mold everywhere and the room looked outdated. We paid so much more than that the accommodation was worth. The acc. was also very far from the citycentre in a shady neighborhood. During daytime it is ok (but very far) to walk to the citycentre, but... More

We stayed here for two nights and it was top class. Very clean. Ample parking. Twenty minute stroll into the city centre. Beautiful Silver Springs Hotel next door. Spacious rooms. Delicious breakfast. Hot food freshly cooked. Very friendly staff. Close to Jack Lynch Tunnel with access to all major routes. Convince stores nearby. Highly recommend.

Very noisy - surrounded on 3 sides by roads (2 busy main roads). Not as described. Doesn't overlook the river. A long way from the centre of town. Customer service was not great. We had a hairdryer that overheated and melted and was a potential fire hazard and dangerous and when we took it down to reception we were told... More

Didn't agree with change of price from when we booked. Double bed in room and allowed a guest on booking.com but didn't say there was extra charge. Charged 100 euros originally and the charged extra 29 euros for breakfast for one person. Didnt answer emails I sent prior to staying and only advised of this 24 hours in advance when... More

Not the cheapest but good value. The bridge and flyover were a little daunting but our room was quiet. The room was a good size with two easy chairs and the bathroom actually had a bath - wonderful!! Breakfast was cooked to order and to your own choice. Very good. Bus stop just across the road, easy to get into... More

Our room was clean but the bathroom was very very tired and in need of modernisation. The extractor fan didn't work and the bathroom itself was dark and gloomy, some light bulbs were missing. Nowhere to put/hang clothes in the bathroom. The Victorian garden was in need of a gardener and very unkempt. The breakfast was abundant and great food.... More
