Located not far from Cork, in the middle of a busy street, it remains quiet and easily accessible. From the outside the house is beautiful and also inside is interesting. In our room we were a bit disappointed for a water stain over the bath and the temperature, colder than expected; everything else is good although it seems a bit... More

The breakfast is amazing. It's possibly one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had. Organic yogurt, multiple types of good quality cheeses, homemade breads, fresh squeezed orange juice... I could go on. And a full Irish breakfast. The hotel is nice too. But really, the breakfast. Fantastic.

We enjoyed our stay, shame it was only one night. The room was a good size , clean and comfortable. When we are in Cork again we will stay here again and get the bus into town. Parking in Cork is a nightmare unless you don't mind paying a lot to park. The breakfast was too nice it almost made... More

This B&B has a good location from the city centre - probably only a 10 min drive to get to the centre. However, the rooms are plain and slightly outdated and tired looking. Having said that, the room was clean and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was also good, but it was lacking variety and options. The hotel staff... More

We had a very enjoyable stay in a comfortable room. Lovely breakfasts also in the bright dining room. This is a sprawling house that still retains a sense of history. It is also extremely convenient in terms of access to both Dublin and the surrounding area.

What can I say , I stay here regularly, possibly 3 times a month and I love it. The staff are always friendly and I am always allocated a nice room. Having stayed so often I think I have spent a night in them all ! And can not complain about any , the breakfast is tremendous and cooked to... More

The Lodge is a mile or so out of town on a busy main road and near a flyover but that does not detract from it's convenience or friendliness. There is a lot of parking on site and a garden etc. The accommodation is in an extended house so the rooms vary but we were happy with ours which had... More

Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice and freshly cooked, real home cooking style. Rooms were clean and serviced ,tv worked well as did shower nice view out over garden and best... More

I would not recommend this accommodation. It was absolutely not clean! There was dust and mold everywhere and the room looked outdated. We paid so much more than that the accommodation was worth. The acc. was also very far from the citycentre in a shady neighborhood. During daytime it is ok (but very far) to walk to the citycentre, but... More

We stayed here for two nights and it was top class. Very clean. Ample parking. Twenty minute stroll into the city centre. Beautiful Silver Springs Hotel next door. Spacious rooms. Delicious breakfast. Hot food freshly cooked. Very friendly staff. Close to Jack Lynch Tunnel with access to all major routes. Convince stores nearby. Highly recommend.
