This hostel is great. Good bed, comfortable & clean. Good showers with hot water. A strong wifi signal and decent open & relaxing space. It is s few minutes walk to the city centre but so convenient. Great value for what you get. Staff are helpful.

Stayed here for one night, I thought the staff we met were really lovely and helpful. I come from a hilly town so the walk up the hill didn't bother me at all, it only takes a minute. Located quite close to town. Good wifi signal in our room It is a shame you have to pay for parking during...

For such a small basic room, it wasn't cheap, but the location was central, the bed was comfortable and clean, the noise ceased quite early and the breakfast was very good value. From a cyclists' point of view, we were able to store our bikes indoors but access into the hostel was anything but flat!

The is little commodities. Simple stuff like a locked drawer or a light by the bed. The showers are dirty and unpractical. For tea or coffee, os just checking our luggage there are fees. The building is not very well kept and without being outright dirty, it's decrepit.

Hostels are never meant to be luxurious but there are certain minimum standards. Cleanliness and hot water being some. I stayed here for two nights with some friends and found it to be grim. The bathroom and toilet were gross, possibly due to the amount of people staying there that weekend - all rooms full. Two mornings of ice cold...

I feel bad saying it because the ladies at the front desk were really nice. But it's been one of the worst stays in recent memory and I've been traveling this time for 2 months +. The room was incredibly small. The pillows were orientated so that all our head would be in 1metre of each other. There might be...

So disappointed with our stay in the apartments here. Apartment was fine. There was a party outside my window until 4:30am. My bedroom windowsill was used as a smoking chair all night by people, I could actually hear clearly every conversation, at least it passed the 5 hours I had lying awake. My kid was terrified of 'the monsters' :...

Let me start by saying that I stay in hostels often when I travel so my expectations are never high but I'll outline the pros and cons for you. Pros: Location - to me the location was handy 5-15 min walk to everything I needed and Cork is relatively easy to navigate. Yes there is a hill on York Street,...

Unfortunately our stay in Sheilas was very bad. All the night noise from neighbours , door slammed and shout. No hot water in the room (pointed at the receptionist) Around 4 am the police came and took one guy away because apparently he stolen some money to a woman. No apologize during the check out and no compensation for nothing....
