Lovely hotel, in an idyllic setting, we were on the third floor. The room we had was two beds-one double one single. I think these are designed for hard pressed wives who want to get away from their drunken, snoring husbands!!! Beds are very comfortable, but they are made in such a way they are like an apple pie bed... More

My daughter stayed in this gem as we could not get her a room in Our hotel. Lucky her. A very interesting and stylushw room, very engaged and welcoming staff and a great location for seeing the city. A big thumbs up 😊

Beautifully refurbished, rooms are clean and very well equipped. Super friendly staff. No complaints at all. Smack bang in the middle of town, excellent restaurant and the waterfall is enchanting. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, it truly is a hidden gem!

Never having been to Cork before we did some research on the city before we booked, and apart from the the great reviews of the hotel itself it was, not only, within easy walking distance of the railway station and the bus station, but was perfectly placed for easy walking access to the city centre with it's abundance of restaurants,... I was on a budget and opted to stay in the hotels single bed bedroom. The bedroom was a sufficient size but the ensuite was small and if you are clostraphobic it's not the room for you!! I did exactly what it said on the tin and as I was on a budget I can't complain During the short time... More

Our first night in Ireland did not disappoint. Centrally located the staff were friendly and mostly helpful. Parking was a bit hard to find but not a big drama. Breakfast was good and freshly cooked to order. All in all I would stay again.

Booked a 3 bedroom at this Hotel for two adult families of 5. It was a good value for the money. The apartment itself had more than enough space although one bathroom can present problems in the morning. The main problem is that the apartments are old and in need of a paint job and some freshening the appearance. We... More

Thank you very much for your kind words and balanced review. In fact the apartment;s upgrade is already underway with new carpets in nearly all the apartments. Our ambition is to achieve a balance of smart apartments while still reflecting the history of the old building. We hope you will come again. Arthur More

We staying in one of the apartments - a really useful find at quite late notice so that our daughter could be in a separate room. More than adequate space, travel cot set up as we requested. The kitchen was properly equipped (unlike a number of similar places we've stayed before), and everything was clean. Dining space manageable for two... More

It was actually the Isaacs apartments we stayed in on a sat night. These are located beside hotel on mccurtain st with parking at a nearby gated church yard for 6.50 overnight. This was an ideal location as we walked in and out of town that evening. Apartments clean and roomy and the staff on reception very friendly and helpful.... More
