The Hotel Isaacs Cork was a modern and fun hotel minutes from all the sights of Cork! Our room appeared to be newly renovated and was perfectly clean. The staff was extremely inviting and helpful. The parking situation is interesting. Parking is provided at a reasonable price, however, you need the gate key every time you enter and exit to... More

Our first hotel in Ireland that had working air conditioning!! Yay! The rooms have recently been updated and upgraded. This place was apparently once a hostel, but has definitely grown up. Our only complaint was the rooms are not exactly sound proof. We did hear kids in the room next door at one point. They have an agreement with a... More

Isaacs Hotel (and apartments) Cork, Ireland A delightfully charming old hotel with a wonderful courtyard containing a lovely waterfall. The ambience in the courtyard and adjoining restaurant (Greene’s) were terrific. There is also an Isaacs restaurant which has a very good reputation. We did not eat at either due to scheduling issues. It is only a couple blocks from a... More

Had a great stay. Hotel is close to the city centre, lovely big room, which was clean. Had a great meal at Greene's restaurant which is attached to the hotel. Best thing about our stay was the staff, especially the reception staff! Very helpful and friendly!

I stayed here for a few days and loved it. The front of the hotel faces a busy street with great restaurants and bars all around. Live music, great Irish pubs, and a variety of eateries can be found in every direction. Wonderful shopping and sight seeing are a few minutes walking distance. The hotel itself is quite, elegant and... More

Lovely hotel, friendly staff except in Greene's restaurant(!). Well appointed, air conditioning which helps as located on a busy main road. You can offload luggage outside but parking is down the road. Not a problem unless it's pouring with rain but that would be the case anywhere! Breakfast not the best I've had with white plastic bread for toast and... More

We booked one of the apartments, please keep in mind that there are hotel rooms and apartments. We decided to make a last minute stop to Cork on our way to Dublin so not a lot of research went into our booking. The pros: the location is great, walking distance to lots of restaurants. Dan made a few recommendations and... More

Booked this at short notice. Got a lovely room that looked like it was recently renovated. Nice king size bed. Rain shower. The room faced on to the street but there is excellent sound proofing and we didn't hear a sound. The location is excellent. The parking situation is slightly inconvenient but not a major issue for me. The reception... More

If you read reviews from the last couple of years, you'll see a number of guests complaining about the state of some of the apartments in Issac's (apartments 1-10 seem to be the older ones).. The usual reply given by management is that the hotel is undergoing refurbishment and that all of the apartments will eventually be brought up to... More

We arrived here after a long drive and when we went to check in there really was no real plan in place for parking the car. They sent us with a remote to a church parking lot around the corner that didn't work, then to another lot in another direction.it took an hour to finally get in to our room.... More
